Love it! Love it! Love it! From the people to the atmosphere, and of course the comic book, Heroes & Villains is truly best comic book shop I have ever had the pleasure of finding! I have been an active buyer from the shop since 2012, thats nothing though because Heroes & Villains has been in business for 20+ years now, and since the day I walked through the door I knew this was the shop for me. For many years now it has been a weekly pleasure of mine to go to the shop to pick up the latest comics, hunt for some old long forgotten back issues, or maybe just chill out on a Saturday afternoon. No matter what youre in the shop for, youre sure to get the best customer service a comic book shop has ever had, fair prices on back issues, and by gosh if the owner of the shop owner, Richard, doesnt have something in stock he will be more than happy to order it in. You might also have the lucky fortune of getting to see famous Image, Dark Horse, and IDW comic artist Drew Moss just hanging out at the shop on Wednesdays or working or upcoming comics such as The Crow: Prisoner of Freedom for IDW, and Terrible Lizard with (Cullen Bunn, although he does not visit the shop) for Oni Press. Since Drew happens to be such a nice guy, Heroes & Villains carries as large amount of blank variant covers for at your request Drew will create you your own one of a kind comic cover on whatever blank variant cover you have purchased. How about that, you dont even have to go to a convention to get your own one of a kind variant cover done. I should also like mention that Heroes & Villains carries a wide variety of comic book collectibles and memorabilia, such as t-shirts and jackets, posters, might wallets, decals, the latest DC Entertainment and Marvel merchandiser, statues and action figures, Loot Crate items, and so much more. And again, if its not in the shop the owner will be more than happy to put in an order for whatever it is your looking for. Heroes & Villains, truly one of the greatest comic book shops of all time.

When i travel from state to state i try to visit at least one comic book store. I do suggest to never judge a comic book or regular book store by its cover, judge by the customer service and the material inside. I did not engage too much with the owner but i did hear how he treated other customers and his regulars. With 20+ years in the comic book industry, he knows what hes doing, his material, and how treat his customers. He has a good sense on when to check on a customer. When i first arrived he greeted me and ask if i needed any help, I politely declined so i could gauge the store better and he politely went back to his own thing. It wasnt until later that he approached me again to inform me about the older comic book deal (5 for a $1). It was perfect timing and it was short, simple and sweet. I really appreciated how he was able to gauge how much the customer wanted to talk because to those that wanted to talk he talked. He has a large assortment of comic books, not too many graphic novels but i would bet he would order what anyone requested. It would have been nice to have things in alphabetical order or have the comics grouped but the fact he had a large collection i didnt care too much plus i like to flip through the bins, i usually find something new. I would have to place this in my top 5 favorite comic/book stores.

I travel 40 minutes every 2-3 weeks to go to this shop, not my regular shop but I wish it was. Extremely organized. Kid friendly. And by far the best customer service Ive had in any store Ive been too, not just comic store. Seriously consider going there, he also does great on getting in first edition back orders!

The staff is really nice and helpful. Though their comic book selection is a bit lacking, the workers will order whichever one youre looking for, and do so nicely. Feel free to spark up a nerdy conversation with anyone there and get lost in the fandoms.
