If you are an avid reader then this is the book store for you. The Book Owl is a one of a kind book store. For adults and children you will find books for every type of interest & passion to something new and unexpected. The owner Nelson knows every inch of the store and can locate a book for you in quick time. He takes special orders and will ship books anywhere in the world. I was happy to see they do gift certificates for that hard to buy for person. They also have music for all tastes which was a neat surprise. I will definitely recommend this store to family, coworkers and friends!!

This is a quaint book shop nestled in the middle of Churchland that offers a fine selection of books of different topics ranging from education to entertainment. The owner is kind and gives excellent service. He helps people find what they are looking and also accepts used books for store credit to get books. The other reason I recommend this place is the permanent discount. His books are always 50 percent off cover price everyday.

I have done alot of business at the Book Owl over the past 3 years and have always been very happy with selection,service and price. The owner, Nelson is very knowledgeable, helpful and widely read. When I am looking for a book, old or new, I give Nelson a call first to see if he can get it...and he almost always can do so and cheaper than anyone else. I very highly recommend this store.

Churchland is lucky to have the Book Owl in its neighborhood. Unlike the big book sellers, Nelson does not sell his books at a premium. He has books of every genre, used and new. Make a stop here just to chat, read a book, buy one or not...its just a neat store!
