Youre experience at this shop will probably vary based on who is working. I have been here about 5 times now, one guy is very nice and very talkative, the other guy is kinda grumpy and has what seems to be a Rosetta stone Spanish lesson running though the PA system. Although he seems grumpy, when you check out he is actually a really nice guy and quite helpful. The comic selection is really great here. A ton of back issues and basically every new comic you are looking for. They have a massive amount of collectibles, board games, card games, statues and graphic novels. I have always had great customer service here. I just picked up a variant of a comic that came out Wednesday, they held it for me until Thursday evening. I thought this was very nice since they clearly sold any of them that they had on the shelf and probably could have sold this one before I got there, but they really helped me out. I would recommend this store to any nerds, geeks or other human beings that just like fantasy. The prices arent the best but they dont really gouge you either. My girlfriend and I check this store at least once a month because they do a great job of rotating their inventory and getting new products in.

Ive been here a few times before, with no problems. But today I went in and said hi, and the guy at the counter didnt acknowledge me. I looked around for a bit, while the two people working there were being extremely rude. "F this, f-ing that, Jesus Christ this, f-ing Iraq, f-ing Egyptians, we should just let them all kill each other and take their oil." I was so sick of hearing it that I put down what I was going to buy and left the store. I cant support a business that lets their employees talk like that in front of customers.

Its a great comic shop with a knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Tons of stuff and pretty well organized. If you cant find what youre looking for, theyre glad to help. Whether its brand new or vintage or a new reprint of an old newspaper strip you loved when you were a kid, if its in print and you want it, theyll get it for you. Even if its out of print, they may still have it or theyll find it for you. Great customer service and a nice place to spend half an hour!

Went to the store for the first time today and they have tons of comics and many other things in the store. I entered the store and got a weird look and no hello/greeting of any kind. While I was there I felt awkward, maybe because of how quite it was in the store and nobody was talking. When I asked for something behind the counter the guy was nice then and at check-out. Ill definitely be back though.

Been to comic shops from sea to shining sea and this one is in my top 3. Lots of back issues, trades, graphic novels, new stuff and collectibles. Stuff for gamers and card fans as well. But the most important part is it "feels" like the kind of shop I grew up with in the 80s. Tight fit, long boxes everywhere, kinda dimly lit...not one of those high gloss joints from the 90s. Feels like home.

Walked in and was ignored. Alot of selection, but honestly whats the point of selection if There is no basic customer service. Why put a bell on the door if there is no wish to be a sales person. Heavily disappointed as I had to approach the person behind the counter who was rude. Ill spend my money elsewhere. They must make enough from everyone else who shops their.

I love this store. I take my son every year in the month of December just before Christmas and we are blown away every time. My 4 year old son recently had an interest in the Dice Master game. Now I am using the comic book store as an incentive for his good behavior to collect all the cards and dice. We will be visiting this store more often now.

I am a regular at this store. The staff may not be In your face with greetings and sales pitches but they have a great selection of everything in comics and comic related merchandise. Its a great store and they have always treated me better than any store Ive been to in who knows how long. 5 stars. Stay classy Commissioner Gordon

awesome awesome awesome comic book shop. exactly how you would want a comic book shop to look and exactly where you would want it to be. The folks there really know there stuff and made even a semi-serious comic book nerd like myself feel welcomed. super-cool shop and my kids and I love getting our comics here!

This is the only comic book store I will go too. They know me by name and keep a "mail box" for me of all the comics I buy since I live out of the area. They have a great back stock as well, which for me is a big plus. They have a lot of Card/Gaming supplys but it is a true comic book store.

Very nice comic book store. I took some friends from Ireland there and they very much enjoyed it, so did I. They have a great variety of everything in the comic book field. An added bonus is they have treats from around the world that is hard to find in the us.

Everyone here is super friendly! Joe, Charlie, Kurt, and the other guys treat you like family. They have comics, graphic novels, toys, collectables, tee shirts, CCGs, board, card, dice, miniature, and role playing games, and so much more! Nerdvana in Lancaster!!!

Whenever Im in Lancaster I stop in to say hi to the friendly folks at The Comic Store. I always walk out with something new. I love their super hero t-shirt section and they have a million action figures. Best comic and trade selection in Lancaster !!!!

I go here all the time and love it so much! They even carry Miyazaki stuff sometimes and have tons of Sailor Moon stuff! As a fan of comics they have new and old and everything in between. It would be a shame to miss out!

Fantastic staff! And if they dont have what youre looking for, theyll find it. Massive back issue catalogue. Large gaming section as well, including running tournaments for Magic: The Gathering
