The employees at The Book Exchange are always very helpful and friendly. They have a great selection of various items including books(obviously), music, and DVDs. I love the charity drive they do every month or so as well. It is always nice to see the owner, John, helping out and working hard. He is always friendly and excited about the store and the area and Cassie, Sam, and Kama are always ready to help me find a book whenever I need some assistance. Great staff, great environment, and great selection. Well done Book Exchange keep it up!

Store credit from traded goods can be used on any type of merchandise - books, movies, or music. Its very well organized and easy to find what youre looking for. Every month theres a different additional item that can be traded for store credit (e. g. candy, concert tickets, or legos). Comfortable seating, friendly staff, and a fabulous variety make this store a favorite.

Where else can you trade in your used books in exchange for other like-new ones? Exactly. Theyve got a great store with a huge selection of books, DVDs, CDs and records. They take in trades daily so there are always items coming into the store! Friendly staff that will help you find whatever youre looking for. If they dont have an item, they can order it for you.

Great place! Sometimes have somewhat hard to find books pop in there, like books written in Japanese. (Not learning books, but actual native language books). Its a pleasant environment and I think the prices are fine. I havent tried the trade in system, but its interesting that they have one.

It is the best used book store in Hampton Roads! It is clean, peaceful, well organized and stocked with tons of books, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes and records. And if you cant find what you are looking for, they will order it for you. Great customer service!

Waaaaaaay overpriced for books. I can find 95% of the books that are here online for half the price and in better condition. Staff didnt seem friendly or inviting. Not impressed with this store at all. Although, movie and music selection was decent.

Lots of books, videos, music CDs to choose from. Prices are a little steep. Books sell for half the original price. You have to really want what they have to pay their asking price. They also buy your items.

I love this bookstore. Two of my kids are starting to read and they go through lots of books. Here I can trade the books they read back in for new ones they havent. Theyve become much better readers.
