Ive enjoyed Heaven and Earth over the years and though their selecetion of music isnt as good as I would like, thats just me personally, they have a great selection of Bibles and other books to choose from. In response to BornAgains comments, I just want to say you have judged a little quickly. I too, find their prices a bit high on gifts. So walk out as you did and dont buy anything. When enough people do that, it will drive prices lower, but you dont have to insult the entire family owned store. Chronicles of Narnia are sold there because they are Christian books which deliver a Christian message with Aslan portraying Christ Himself. I am also confused as to why you think the fifth person coming to ask you if you need any assistance is poor customer service. I know I was not there, but I have viewed poor customer service as being ignored...not waited on. As far as you being looked at by the employees, were you two the only customers in the store at the time? Were all the employees standing around with no one to wait on and so all eyes were on you because they wanted so much to do something to earn their pay while there. I know, working retail myself, that long periods between customers can get boring and sometimes we tend to get a bit excited when you, a customer, walks thru the door. We dont care what color you are or how old you are. Were just excited to have you there and we want to help! For the record, I do not work for Heaven and Earth, so I am not one of those employees defending myself. I work at a battery store. And I am glad that when I walk into Heaven and Earth, I am greeted and waited on. I hate being ignored when I walk into a business....because that is bad for business. I wish you would give Heaven and Earth another chance, and Ill bet they are probably not judging you as you have judged them. They probably read your review and have done all the brainstorming to find out how to make things right for you...and every other customer who walks thru their door.

Just got the Earth When me and my wife decided to come to this store, we did not know what to expect..but even I was not prepared for the mistreatment that we recieved while in this store. First of all the store is completely overpriced..get ready to shell out $125 for for a 12 x 12 picture or anything bigger than your hand. The book selections are Secular to say the least..why would anyone sell The Chronicles of Narnia in a christian store is beyond me. But the customer service was TERRIBLE. My wife and I are very young (early 20s) and African american..I suppose they are not used to that combination. At first I thought it was just good customer service, but after the fifth person came to check on us while we were looking for a bible for my wife, including the manager, I began to feel uncomfortable. Only to have the personell literaly stare at us (leering at us from the counter almost the entire time) we just had to leave A.S.A.P. It was a long drive home as we left the store..my wife in tears because of how we had been treated, but we still prayed for them. Buyer beware, there is nothing christian about this store. Just another place making money off of God.

I stopped here looking for a rosary to give as a present. Besides the ones on display, I was shown a catalog with a very large selection. I found the prices to be reasonable, and easily ordered one from the catalog to be ready for pickup in a few days. The customer service was excellent. Military discount also.

First visit not so great. Made to feel uncomfortable with my questions about Catholicism. Second trip awsome, the lady who waited on me was so nice and helpful. Please take note she did not wait on me the first visit.

Stopped coming here years ago because everything was way overpriced and the manager here was a prick.
