I FREAKING LOVE THIS BOOK SALE!!!! When I get a new calendar its the first thing I look up and mark down. I have found literally hundreds of really good books and at prices that are unbelievable. Imo the best day is the second to last. Its dime day; every book, every single book is only ten cents. I have literally cleared entire sections. And the best book I have ever read (so far) I found there. If you are a proud reader and book aficionado then this is a must go. After one trip, you will be hooked as well!!!!

I try to go to the sales as often as I can... Im sure others have covered the format; 3 weekends, first is the most "expensive" with the most expensive items still under $5, and the last weekend books are basically free (but the selection is much depleted). I always find something, and the fun of the hunt is enjoyable. The inventory is quite good if you get in on the first wave of opening day, but you usually need to be there about 1.5-2 hours before opening.

Always walk away with a ton of books for next to nothing. Its always crowded and takes a while to get through the checkout but it is well worth it. Books range from around $3 for hardcover at the beginning weekend to filling a shopping bag for $1 with whatever you want on the last day. Go here if you love books!

Really cool book sale warehouse. The modern issue is you will be overrun by re-sellers with their book scanners or smartphones that just go in and scan every book they think they can turn for a profit. It would be great if they could curb this activity so everyone can get a reasonably priced book in their hands.

One of your volunteers, ERIC, was here today to my book shoppe (JIMS BOOKS, ETC) here in Machias, MAINE and was telling me about this WICKED GREAT event!! I truly hope I am able to venture there!! JIM APPLEMAN...originally a BUCKEYE, now replanted in the GREAT PINE TREE STATE!!

A little overwhelming the first time. Maps available. Be patient, lines to get in do form. However, they limit the number of people inside at once, thus the line, to make browsing through the 10,000+ more relaxed. Take the bag they offer when you go in, youll need it.

Such a great experience while visiting Ithaca! Picked up a whole bunch of cookbooks and foreign language books for next to nothing. The volunteers were all really helpful too.

If you are looking for used books at a good price, it doesnt get much better than this. A warehouse full of books gives you a lot to look through.

Huge variety of books for sale. The sale is twice a year. Restrooms are available. Parking is poor near the site.
