I went into the store to buy a phone, didnt leave out until an hour + later. I have a Verizon account and just wanted to upgrade my phone, sounds easy right? No. First, radio shack (RS) is allowed to do business for Verizon, but does not have access to Verizon account information. I was in there for 30 mins on the phone with Verizon to get a PW so RS could determine I was eligible for an upgrade. After getting the info it took the RS staff another 30 mins to ring us up ( another family member under the same account decided to upgrade as well). Then while the guy was scanning the phone up he says, "oh by the way there will be a $30 dollar upgrade fee for each phone added to your next bill, do you still want to get the phone? I know people who called up verizon and were able to get the upgrade fee dropped" After being in here an hour, yes Im getting the phone. Finally after an hour + we were able to leave. I called Verizon up a few days later and they are not allowed to drop the upgrade fee, I dont know customers are being told that. RS Aberdeen, worst customer service ever.

I went into the store to buy 6 phone batteries. The store clerk came up to the counter, Jordan was his name. I had all the information written down, and handed it to him. He then proceed to tell me to bring in the battery so it is easier for them to match the battery. Jordan tried to look it up in the computer, but something was wrong and he could not look up the battery. He just walked away and said I should come back with the battery. I walked out and that store will never have my business again. With people like that working they should just close the store, because they do not want to help the customers. Stay away from this store.

They know nothing about basic electronics so hobbyist electricians beware. This is one of the new Radio Shacks focusing on cell phones. Good deals on phones. They have a good assortment of basic electronics parts but is limited by their retail space.

Went to get a ipod dock and left with a blackberry there very helpful i dealt with Nyal and he was great i didnt even think i had good enough credit for a contract cell phone but he got me on sprint. and there prices on there phones are really good.

Great customer service. Called and told Christa had in stock what I needed - a dvi to dvi cable. Not the first time she has come through for me on electronics products I have needed.
