Had a hard drive take a dive on my Mac Mini. Brought it in to Experimac, and they were able to save the data, and ultimately transfer it to a new Mini. However, in between, several other attempts were made, including trying to simply replace the drive on the original Mini. I purchased a SSD from Experimac and had it installed, with data transfer included. Unfortunately for me, the mother board was also failing, and thus the Mini had to be put down for parts. That left me with stranded. I bought the new Mini, but then found out the new mini would not take the SSD. Experimac refunded me the full price of the SSD and data transfer, and only charged me for the 2nd data transfer to the new Mini. They put everything on Time Machine, (that I had not been using) onto a 1TB external drive, and offered me the option to buy it, which I did. So all in all they worked with me, were very fair on pricing, solved the problem, and saved the data. I will give them 5 stars for their efforts.

I have had two very positive experiences here at Experimac. The first was a trade/ purchase . My daughter needed her iPhone 5 Fixed. When we entered the store we were surprised to see all the different Apple products that was in the show room. iPhones, IPads, MACBooks and IMacs . The salesman and the Technician were very prompt, knowledgeable and friendly . In the end , we ended up trading in my daughters phone and upgraded her to a 5s which took only minutes for the transition. I ended up purchasing a mini iPad because the price was a very good deal . In the end, we had a great experience and ended up with two devices for the price it would of cost me to get her a new phone. The second experience was a iPhone 6 screen repair. Again, the gentleman were friendly and prompt and very budget friendly . I would highly recommend checking out their services .

I was in the market for a new MacBook Air however when I stumbled upon Experimac in Portland and saw how perfect the refurbished MacBooks were as well as the prices I was in shock!!! I have now had it fro many months and can truly say its as good as new plus I saved over $1200 of the retail price and I have the same thing as a brand new one from Apple...I also now have used them for replacing my iPhone screen.... I would like to add that the staff is top notch!!! You couldnt find a better owner(Jeff) who takes care of his customers!!! If your in the market for a new computer stop in first to see there selection and trustworthiness youll be happy you did! Trevor
