Efficient staff at a spacious, well-stocked Walmart with great parking. Easy to get to and convenient to several other large retailers. I ordered online for in-store pickup. This marked the first time I had tried this option; I will be using this service again. I didnt have to search the shelves, wrestle boxes to find product information, and compare in-store. I compared all the options at home on my computer, ordered, paid online, and went straight to the service bay to pick up my item. The line was short and the staff members were helpful.

Poor stock levels. Most times I have to go to another Walmart (Gonzales or North Mall in Baton Rouge) to get everything I need. This has been the case since the store opened just after Katrina. I have politely complained to local management several times, once to corporate management. Nothing has ever improved. I avoid this store except when I need only a couple of items I know will be in stock.

The tire and lube is very poorly run. There are many times when they will close early and there is no way of knowing until you get there. If you call the store, expect the phone to ring 75 times and then have someone tell you they are going to be open until 7 PM. So then you drive all the way there across town to find out that the doors are locked at 5:30 PM. Get it together Walmart!

Crying screaming children just dont understand Im trying to gather stuff for my great great vacation Im getting ready to take and shop for fun things and we have children screaming at the top of their lungs and parents just not caring take them outside give them something to cry about when they stop crying bring them back inside why why are you forcing me to listen hes bad kids

This store is generally pretty busy when I shop here, but that shows it has reasonable prices that helps people keep a budget... and the staff are generally nice and helpful. The main disappointment I have is that it is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone, period, or being transferred several times because an incorrect number is dialed...VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

The employees are rude and use vulgar language. Ive complained to their corporate office but no action plan to change things have not been put into place. I kept going back thinking it was just a bad day but its the same thing every time I go there. The store is not very clean either. I have decided to shop elsewhere even if I have to spend a little more.

Horrible horrible horrible service!!! Cashier was so rude! He also kept yelling across the store to other employees to ask what they were doing later and when they worked next. Only 3 lanes were open and 1 was express only. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

This Walmart is HORRIBLE! I have never had such terrible service. They never answer the phone and when they do they answer and then hang up. Unacceptable. Not to mention the workers are rude. Managers are just as bad. LAZIEST WALMART IN ASCENSION.

They are always out of stock or their employees are too lazy to stock the shelves. Their meat is always pass the freeze date so you have to always check since they dont. I just found lunch meat that was 30 days past the use or freeze date!

First time I have been to this Walmart. It was 08:30am. EVERY WALMART EMPLOYEE I walked past and had dealings with wished me a GOOD MORNING! in a very happy way. Have never received such a welcome in a Walmart before.

If you are getting tire work done and you have the choice between this Wal-Mart and the one in Gonzales, choose this one. The one in Gonzales seems to always say 3 hours. These guys seem to be faster.
