This bridal salon is unlike any other in NJ or KY. A large, magnificent space of full length mirrors, chandeliers and intimate sitting spaces for family members and the attendants. The spacious interior and large dressing rooms were built in consultation with a NYC commercial interior designer/friend of the owner, Laurel Robertson. The largest selection of exquisite sample designer wedding gowns I have seen anywhere!!! The buyers bring the best gowns out there to Kentucky. In season and off season there are many elegant gowns on a big sample rack with huge markdowns that can be purchased and taken home the same day, making the tightest schedule easy and doable.. And many of the new wedding gowns are moderately priced making a tight budget affordable while the Bridal Suite offers a variety of exquisite designer gowns for the most discriminating taste. Bridal Suite also features a nice collection of gowns/dresses for the attendants and mothers, plus unique bridal accessories and gifts of every imagineable kind. Plus sparkling Cinderella shoes, jewelery, lingerie, party gifts, favors, etc. This is one salon not to be missed by a prospective bride in the Louisville area. Past patrons have travelled over 100 miles to see and experience the Bridal Suite of Louisville and the owners, Ms. Laurels TLC, as she makes each bride feel very special and works diligently with their individual needs. The owner and staff do their best to please. Appointments are always suggested for try-ons/fittings, but no obligation intended. For a special visual experience, the Bridal Suite is one stop bridal shopping at its very best in a very elegant setting. The Collection covers a vast range of styles and designers, and make choosing the "right gown" no easy accomplishment. The owner worked many years in the NYC fashion/bridal market and tries to emulate her stores services after the famous Kleinfelds in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Atlanta, , but without their price tags.

I went shopping at this location recently looking for a wedding dress. It was the 3rd shop I went to. The lady who helped me was great, I think her name was Amy. However, I wasnt satisfied with my overall experience... and here is why: 1. of all the places I have shopped so far, this is the only location that wouldnt allow me to photograph myself in the dress. HELLO! This is my wedding dress... why on earth would I buy a dress that I dont know what it will look like in a picture?! 2. They wouldnt tell me the designer of the dress. It was "private label". Well, thats great, but when someone asks me the designer, or I want to check to make sure Im paying what its worth, or down the road I want to sell it, knowing that its "private label" does me NO good. 3. They had very few dresses, and only 1 fit my needs, and all of the dresses were dirty from so many people trying them on, Im guessing. 4. They said they could order the dress, but had NO IDEA when it would be in. They said anywhere from July to August. My wedding is in September... Im going to need to know a more accurate date, especially considering they dont do alterations in house. That would be a scheduling nightmare. 5. They insulted my budget. The owner said I wouldnt be able to find what I wanted for that amount... well, I did. Just not at their shop. This seems like a mom and pop shop, and I think thats great. But their service should be better, considering I was the only person in the shop in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday. Truth is, I loved one of the dresses I tried on there, but because of their no picture rule, inability to tell me the designer, and a date that it would arrive, I had to pass that dress up. It was too risky. A $950 loss for them.

I really think this store is cute and has great potential. However I had a terrible experience in this store and it really is too bad. I made a 9 Oclock appointment with a consultant and I arrived right on time. I went in and wasnt greeted, not a problem, so I went over to let them know I was there and who I had an appointment with. One girll was on the phone the entire time we were there (it was obviously a personal call due to the language she was using) and the other girl said oh okay and what is this appointment for? I explained we wanted to look at bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride dresses. She proceeded to point to where they were and said go ahead and look through and let me know if you need a changing room. ..... ..... ok. We went over the very small area where the dresses were and started looking. we looked through all the dresses and no one ever came over. So we went to the MOB dresses and we looked and my mom picked up one she liked but because we had been getting strange stares the whole time from the girls at the counter my mom told me she didnt want to ask for a changing room. At that point my bridesmaids and I decided that we needed to go look somewhere else. So we just left. No one said anything to us as we headed toward the door and even my mom said thank you. Nothing. I couldnt believe it.

To start off, I will say I bought my dress from the Bridal Suites. Its absolutely beautiful and such good quality. I cant wait to wear it when I walk down the aisle! The reason I am only giving this place a 3 though is because of one reason. The owner. As well intentioned as she may be, she is extremely pushy when it comes to buying items at her store. Granted, I know its how she makes a living, but it is very overbearing. Both times Ive been there when she has been there she will not stop trying to sell me something . Ill go in to look at one specific item and before I know it shes trying to sell me items I never wanted in the first place. It wouldnt be so bad, except I always get the feeling she is more interested in making the sell than making sure I actually like what Im buying. Every other bridal store Ive been to has been all about me and what I want, while the owner at Bridal Suites is always trying to rush me to the register. Im not sure if it is intentional or not, but I would recommend several other boutiques over this one simply because of that reason.

Lindsey wrote: I am overwhelmingly happy with the service and full "bridal experience" that I got with Lori and Sara at The Bridal Suite of Louisville. Sara helped me go through dresses and find what was "me" and what wasnt, and she really made me feel comfortable and enjoy the experience. Lori was super sweet and helpful in this process as well. She was flexible enough to let me leave and think through things. The thinking process was short because I KNEW nothing could get better than the dress I found. We came back that afternoon and got the most beautiful and unique dress I have ever seen! It was such a great afternoon with my mom, matrons of honor, and two fabulous ladies from The Bridal Suite! Thank you so much for the most perfect day ever! I cant wait to spread the word of my excellent bridal experience
