THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE.....PLEASE READ MY REVIEW BEFORE YOU GO!!!!!!!! Here is what happened from beginning to end!! FYI....THEY WORK ON COMMISSION ONLY SO THEY WILL SAY AND DO ANYTHING TO GET YOU TO BUY A DRESS FROM THEM.....DONT LET THEM FOOL YOU!!!!!!!!!!! my daughter and i went just to try on dresses and to look around and see what they have to offer....when we walked in they couldnt wait on us right away so we waited...we could look at dresses but we wasnt allowed to try them on by ourselves at all!! so we looked until they called our name...then thats when we were allowed to pick out dresses that my daughter could try on. WE TOLD THEM OUR BUDGET!!!! we stressed to them that the budget was strict and couldnt waiver above it. at the time they were having a trunk show. FORGOT TO MENTION THIS WAS ABOUT A MONTH AGO IN JAN. 2015!!!! anyway she tried on some pretty dresses that she liked and was looking at what styles she preferred. there was a dress designer there that was with Allure and him and another worker there that knew our budget handed my daughters consultant a dress and she tried it on....she really liked it and they put a veil on her and she started crying and so did i. they had her pose with the designer of the dress...yes the same man that was with Allure...had her say yes to it and so forth....then....i asked the price....IT WAS $2000 DOLLARS OVER BUDGET!!!!!!!!!! i told them that i wasnt gonna be able to get the dress and they tried every which way to get me to get the dress...i told them i wasnt prepared at that moment to buy a dress at that time that we were there just to try on dresses...they told me i could put so much down right then and come back in and put the rest down and because there was a trunk show going on that it was 10% off that day....i tried to explain to them that even with the 10% off it was STILL way over budget!! thats when they started coming at me FAST...they bombarded me with "you put money down and we will hold it" then after she said that another girl said "we dont know if this dress will be here after today" and i had them coming at me LITERALLY from all directions!!!! I WAS BOMBARDED!!!!!!!!!! i had to walk into the main area with my daughter and this one lady said "lets walk up to the counter and crunch numbers"....i told her at the counter that i dont know what numbers you want to "crunch" cause i have NO money right now to get this dress. so i told her that i needed a breather away from them and talk to my daughter....my daughter was LIVID!! all she wanted to do was leave...she couldnt believe they did that to her!! it was a NIGHTMARE!!!! i walked back up to the counter and laid this little pouch they had given her for saying"yes to the dress"...OH yeah while they were taking her picture with the designer they also had her hold up a sign that said "I said yes to the dress at bridal warehouse".....anyway i laid it on the counter and my daughter and i left!! on the way home we couldnt even talk we were so mad at what they did!!!! that was supposed to be a fun time for her and they turned it into a nightmare!! after that day we went back to a couple other places that treated her and i MUCH better than they ever will anyone else....THEN she found a beautiful dress for the fraction of what they wanted for any of their dresses and the one she picked is MUCH more beautiful than anything they had as well!!!!!!!!!!!! NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NIGHTMARISH PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!!! DONT ALLOW YOUR DAUGHTER TO GO THROUGH WHAT MINE AND OTHERS ON HERE HAVE GONE THROUGH!!!!

Jacqueline B.08/27/2014Edit I will start out saying I have been a wedding planner for over 15 years. My nephew was is getting married and the bridesmaids dresses his intended had picked out were at Bridal warehouse in Louisville,Ky. We all gathered there and no one greeted us. I personally had to keep going to find someone to answer questions. Finally I started pulling dresses since it was apparent no one was going to help us.We finally decided on a dress and the ladies proceeded to get measured. My one niece was very resistant about order a size 28, however they were the "experts" and convinced us that was the size to order. The next day I called back to the store and spoke with the manager Stephanie to inform her of the lack of customer service. She did not seem interested at all that we received that type of service. I then proceeded to call the Elizabethtown store. I spoke to a wonderful , gracious person by the name of Jackie who listened and made me feel much better. I apreciated her so much!! Fast forward to months later and our dresses arrived. My niece that had ordered the size 28 picked up her dress and tried it on, it fell down off of her!!!! She did not loose weight, she was simply measured improperly. I called the store and spoke to yet again Stephanie the store manager who was rude, insensitive and very non- caring. All I wanted was for to acknowledge that if there was an issue on their side that we would not have to pay for alterations. She also explained we would need to pay a rush fee to have our dress done in time. The alterations lady had already said the dress would have to be re- made. Therefore my nieces dress will not look like everybodys else. Not once did Stephanie offer to assure me the problem could be resolved that they would work with us at all. As much as I hate to say this, I am just wondering now is it because we were black. I watched the first time we were in there of other clients that were greeted upon arrival. Just makes me think. I did call Jackie back at the Elizabethtown store who once again showed concern, professionalism in all aspects. We decided not to chance having the alterations done there since they show they really were not concerned at all about our business. Why give them more money?? I was hoping this was a fluke but as I have read other reviews, I know we are not the only ones who have had this issues. Moral of THIS story... DO NOT go into Bridal Warehouse in Louisville, Ky. Perhaps a dose of customer service might help this group. Jackie is great, they could take some notes from her especially the store manager.
