This review has nothing to do with the food, as the atmosphere in the front seemed fine. I went to this store to check out the vinyl selection based on the description as having a "wide selection of vinyl records" however when i got there i was extremely disappointed. the selection was probably less than 100 records in total, and very few big name artists among them. The food and coffee might be good, but if youre only interested in the vinyl records, this is not the place to go.

Great brunch & coffee stop — a group from my aerials studio makes a ritual of visiting almost every Sunday. Service can be very slow at peak times, so come prepared to hang out and relax. I highly recommend the lox bagel, chive-ass biscuit, and (of course) the chocolate chip cookie. Drip coffee is decent and a bottomless cup is reasonably priced. Havent tried the espresso drinks, but my friends seem to like them. My better half loves the lavender lemonade.

I am not able to drink caffeinated coffee as it makes my heart flip ... The person at the counter was so very rude in telling me that they did not serve decaffinated and the closest thing they had was herbal tea...we are visiting fro out of town - he was the only rude person we encountered on our trip to this lovely town. We wont let him spoil our day ... We walked down to the "garage" sweet! Had a lovely decaf and brunch there!

I adore this place. Its small with limited seating, but the charm and friendliness sold me. The staff is super friendly and interactive. I saw the room where there were records playing and my eyes widened like saucers; one of the staff noticed and told me I could go in there and check out the music and even select something to play for the shop! Too cool. The derby bars are delicious as is the vanilla chai latte.

It is exactly what you think it is. Its a small coffee shop that caters to a "hip crowd". The products are good and reasonably priced compared to their contemporaries. The interior has a nice aesthetic and even has a conjoined vinyl record shop. Hipster deluxe. Grab your beanie or your leggings and your stroller you insatiable millennial and get your sweet caffeine hip fix.

Grab your cookies and go. Music too loud and worker was rude when I asked if it was possible to turn it down. Drinks nothing to call home about. Maybe it was because we had a couple of babies with us. I know some places are just not wanting kids around. And Im not exaggerating the music was so loud some other kid came in and cried and covered his ears.

Absolutely love this place! Wonderful coffee and incredible chocolate chip cookies! The service is also very prompt and everybody who works there is super sweet. In fact, we walked by last week after they closed and one of the employees walked out and gave us a bag of leftover cookies for free! Highly recommend it!

The White Chocolate Ganache Latte is awesome. I suggest a small though as it is really sweet. Really cool vibe and great place to meet someone for a friendly meeting. Record store in the back is cool and there is a DJ booth to one side of the coffee shop. Always fresh treats and other fresh items for sale.

Coffee was okay. But they had one barista and she waited til there were like 10 orders waiting before making one. Ive been to local shops with 1 barista and they never wait for that many orders before they start making them. I actually thought she was waiting someone else to make them.

I love P&TY! Not only do they make a great cup of coffee, but their chocolate chip cookies are some of the best things in the world. I could eat them all day. I actually did one day. The baristas are also very nice. If you find yourself downtown, go. Get a cookie. Thank me later ;)

I discovered so many great records here. Bought Mark Bolan, David Bowie, and Lou Reed here. Loved it. I recommend the hot chocolate just because they put a huge marshmallow in it and I loved eating it after the drink. Also a good location to meet up with friends or business.

Ive been going to Highland for more than fifteen years. The employees have always been brilliant and spot on with service! Both beverage and food items have never disappointed, and the clintel interesting to say the least. Keep it weird Highland.

Worked here all morning on my laptop. There was great coffee, a strong wifi connection and sweet tunes playing on vinyl all morning. If your going to work, make sure to check out the back room. Its quite and cozier. Id definitely recommend.

Service was fast. The Americano was perfect temp and consistency. A great cup of coffee. As for their famous cookies, I cannot back up their best in Louisville claim but I can attest that they are the best I have had in Louisville!

My friends and I meet up about once a week on Sunday mornings there. Its not too crowded and the service is great. What they have on the menu is good, but I wish they had more variety in the way of coffee drinks.

The Spanish Latte is killer. Sweet coffee candy in a cup. Breakfast sandwiches are also awesome. Service is top notch friendly and something to be had. Great spit to relax and listen to the records play.

Service and drink prep can be hit or miss. Sometimes the music is a bit loud. But, oh my God, the breakfast panino, muffins, and Derby bars will keep you coming back for more!
