Im a regular and live close by. Go often enjoy the crepes and the coffee. Walked my dog today to get some coffee and to train her a little more working towards service dog. There was a longer line than normal but the dog did pretty well but at the register I could tell they were rushing me. The person working the register even signed my name after I swiped my card without permission. My coffee was ready instantly and the girl that gave me the coffee asked if she was a service dog. I said not yet and she said "well we dont allow dogs in here". I apologised and left. Its a dog friendly street cant tell whos cool and whos not. Lets put up signs bardstown road!!!! Whos dog friendly or not dog friendly!!!! Safai you should of nicely asked me when I came in. Not, let me wait in a long line give me service and then advise me in a passive aggressive way. I would of let my dog wait outside if needed.

Best coffee if you just want a simple cup of coffee done right. Choose from columbian or ethiopian or whatever other origin of bean they have. Then choose pour over, au lait, or some other kind of coffee production. I dont really understand the difference but they are all better than a standard drip coffee or your Keurig by miles. If you dont know what you want just ask the barista for help, they have always been super helpful. I havent had any of their espresso type drinks because their coffee is too good for me to pass up. Ambiance is very laid back with couches and tables. Did i mention their crepes are also quite good?

This is my favorite coffee shop! All the baristas rock! They are kid friendly and dog friendly- with a curb side window to order your beverage and stay with your pooch! Their wifi is always working and they make the best crepes in town!! Did I mention they serve alcoholic beverages?! Yes. You read that right. Wine & local brews right there on the menu!! Love them! Theyre definitely a Highland favorite!

Very good coffee and service. the staff was always friendly and the coffee is some of my favorite in town. I actually like theirs better than Starbucks. Great location as well. Parking can be a pain but if you cant find a spot on Bardstown check on of the streets in the neighborhood, you can usually find a spot there.

Love the layout & vibe of the shop; complete with nooks, open seating, and a private meeting room available for reservation (the fireplace is divine to snuggle up to in the winter). The crepes are mighty good, and they serve fantastic matcha drinks (smoothie or latte) – something I cant find often.

If you love coffee...real, actual coffee and not just a gallon of milk with a hint of espresso Safai is for you. Safai and Sixth and Main Coffeehouse in Shelbyville are the two most consistently great cups of drip or pour over coffee in the entire region. Great ambiance and never a sour cup.

One of the best coffeeshops in Louisville in a well-designed and comfortable space. The coffee is good, they have a nice menu, and a great location. Not only that, but they have a small, but well chosen beer and wine selection if you need to pick up some beans during happy hour.

The coffee is great, but there are so many things at Safai besides coffee! Homemade crepes, beer on tap, bottomless (and generous) $8 mimosas on Sundays, and lots of other goodies. Im particularly fond of their Italian sodas with lavender. Staff is also always friendly and kind.

One of the best coffee shops in town. A great place to work. They have a small front room you can reserve easily for free, just ask an employee. I use it to have writing meetings but Ive also seen book clubs and craft nights happen. All the staff are super friendly.

Great delicious coffee and espresso. Unlike other coffee houses around, they do real breakfasts... Omlettes and crepes, etc. They also serve booze... So grab an Irish coffee or half price mimosa on Sunday!

Great local coffee shop. Crepes are delicious and the coffee is well brewed- most of it is pour over which takes a bit longer but brings out the taste. Its a cozy nook that can easily get overcrowded though

Baristas are fantastic and the coffee is top notch. The cozy atmosphere and delicious crepes dont hurt either. Go on Wednesdays for discounted wine by the glass or Sundays for $8 bottomless mimosas.

Truly love this place. Great all day. I make a habit of coming two to three times a week. Crepes are wonderful and the coffee is excellent. The drink Purple Rain gets me everytime.

Good coffee, great seating for solo work, small groups and even a side room with a big table you can reserve for larger groups. They offer some tasty treats including crepes.

I did not enjoy the coffee here. I got an extremely strong and bitter latte that even after a bunch of cream and sugar was not good. The cookie was not very good either.

Safai has amazing coffee with a fun atmosphere. There is also micro brew beer here and delicious food. If you are lucky you will meet the fat squirrel that lives nearby.

Good environment and coffee options. They use V60 for their drip and serve authentic crepes. Decent place for a meetup or study session. Can be busy and loud sometimes.

Great atmosphere, mix of modern and retro. Just the right selection of food and drink. Appreciated that the barista played Disney music. Made work much more chipper.

This is my go-to coffee shop. Wonderful quality. Interior atmosphere is great, lots of house plants and reclaimed wood. They offer crepes and even a few beer taps.

On their recommendation, get a cup of Black Magic! Each cup of coffee is ground on its own and crafted to taste. Have coffee for the first time. Well done Safai!

Delicious coffee and crepes but the seating was uncomfortable and it smelled like a sewer. Honestly I wanted to stay longer but the smell was really bothersome.

Had the privilege to stop in a grab a quick cup of coffee this afternoon. Absolutely delicious! Smooth and rich! Cant wait to go back and try a crepe or two.

One of my top favorite Coffee places. I really love the coffee here and they provide some cool decor, places to sit down, read etc. I highly recommend.

The girl making coffee had no idea how to use a V60. If youre going to pay more for a pour over, you expect to have it made right. Really disappointed.

Chill atmosphere with a place to read books by the fire, do arts crafts for kids and adults or just chat with friends. Neat cultural melting pot too.

A great local coffee shop on Bardstown road. Try the trifecta. Its a unique process that uses vacuum and turbulence to make the perfect cup!

A great place to go with kids! They have toys, high chairs, and a changing table. The atmosphere, staff and coffee are excellent to boot.

Only place in town where I can ask for a dry cappuccino and I get one every time. Also, good feel inside and the crepes are delicious
