Avoid this store at all costs. I have had nothing but issues over the past eight months. To voice just ONE of my many issues...I ordered a crib and several other pieces of furniture and was told that in 5-7 business days they would call me and tell me it was in. I received two voicemails that my furniture was in. When I called back they informed me that those calls were a mistake and my order was not in. Two weeks later, I called back. After a 40 minute wait on hold I was told that the lady believed my order was in but was unsure because the furniture people had already left for the day. It was 3pm on a Wednesday, found it odd but just said Id call back the next morning. When I did call back, I waited on hold for yet ANOTHER half an hour where they still had issues locating my order. The employees seem to have NO idea what they are doing. They can never find my registry and ive had nothing but issues when it comes to coupons because it seems as though they do not know how to use the cash register or know anything about the R Us Credit Card/Membership rewards. Just to wrap up..I have had several other issues at this location but figured I would spare you. Trust me to never use Babies R Us unless you have TONS of time to stay on the phone, drive to the store, call the corporation customer hotline. Save yourself the headache.

Im a first time expectant mother and have made several trips to Babies R Us over the last few months. Ive found that most employees are unfriendly and unhelpful. Unless you are shopping on a Saturday when it seems they have full staff, you must wander around to find a worker to help you. I placed my nursery furniture order on a Saturday. I was told the furniture would arrive to the store within 7-10 days and I would be notified of each pieces arrival via email. Once notified I would have 7 days to pick up the furniture. On the 11th day I called the store to check the status. During the first call, the rep mistakenly hung up on me. I called back and was placed on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up and called back, sure the lady "checking the status" forgot about me. During this call, I was immediately sent to hold music for 4+ minutes; I hung up again. During my fourth and final call I was told that they were very busy with incoming calls and all the managers were in a meeting. The lady confirmed our furniture was at the store and ready for pick up, but couldnt tell me the date it arrived or why I failed to receive an email notification. Very poor customer service all around.

I shopped here earlier today to buy some things for my infant daughter and wanted to share my pleasant experience. One of the employees, a young blond lady, was walking towards the back of the store. She looked to be either coming from or going to lunch or a break because she had her purse and a drink. Even though she was (presumably) off the clock, she still stopped to ask me if I needed help finding anything. The same girl opened a check out lane up front when the line got to be 3 people deep. My transaction took just a little longer than normal because after I had already swiped (but not signed for) my card, and then remembered I had some cash to put toward the purchase. She said "No problem!" and let me re-pay a portion with the cash and the rest on my card. I thought she was very nice. Also, while I was looking around, one of the young men who worked there came up and commented on how adorable my little girl is. I just had a good experience interacting with the employees here. The only reason I did not give a full 5 star rating is due to the high cost of some of their items and in some areas, lack of inventory.

We tried for several months to purchase a bedroom set for our expected daughter. They did not have any of the models on the floor in stock, so we tried to order one. Weeks later we were told it was in (this after many, many phones calls inquiring about it), but when we went to pick it up we were told it was not in and had been discontinued. So, we picked another one and again had to order it. Weeks went by and I finally called and demanded an answer. I was told it was there and ready for pick up. When we got to the store again, we were told they had it but could not sell it to us since it was recalled. At this point, I was 5-6 weeks from my due date and could not chance it again. So, we ordered a set from Wal-Mart and had it within a week. I have lost all confidence in this store and try to avoid it at all cost. The few times I have went back since, I have always had a problem; the item advertised was not in stock, employees were not willing to help me find what I needed, etc. I would advise anyone to go anywhere but here.

I am amazed with the stupidity of the employees at this location. Babies-R-Us should be embarrassed to employ such superstars. Here is a list of observed issues we actually encountered: *pretend I dont work here, so I dont have to answer questions by customers. *asked rep for status of order on furniture that was placed in-store...when we tried to check status online using order #, the items were not found. The reps response was, I DONT KNOW, YOU CAN LOOK IT UP. *when checking out (after ordering baby furniture with sales rep in rear of store) we asked the rep if we should pay full amount for our order today or when furniture arrives. Rep said "I DONT KNOW" and gave us no other option and looked away. We actually had to ask a manager who gave us a similar answer. Service with a smile and service by competent people are becoming a thing of the past. For future baby items, I would rather drive further away or order online. The employees of this store are driving people away!

I have boycotted this store several times due to terrible customer service and lack of product on shelves. Everytime I try it again, I am just as disappointed. Recently I was looking for an item that was cleared off the shelf. Ask a lady to see if any were in back. Without even checking a computer or anything her response was, "we are out." I eventually found a more helpful employee who found 2 of the items in the back. (And it only took 5 minutes to determine they had it and walk to the back to get them). Just yesterday I was shopping here again and had a terrible checkout experience. 1 register open and a huge line. I Had a coupon that they took from me, but didnt put it on my transaction. Lady was just a grouch. I will shop Buy Buy Baby online from now on. I can going to any Bed Bath and Beyond and order products with their coupons. Much better customer service there.
