Honestly, I had higher hopes for the cottage, but my experience was not very good. I work full time and went in on one of my few days off to find out more about the services and products offered. I asked a sales associate for help and explained I was expecting a baby in January and was trying to decide which brands of cloth diapers I should purchase for a newborn. She spent about five minutes answering my questions, then took a phone call, then came back and said she was needed to help other customers in the store and walked away. And didnt come back... So I get the feeling unless you walk in there ready to sign up for their diaper fairy service, purchase a gift card, or look like you are about to have a baby or have just had a baby, they are not going to spend their time answering your questions. I would have been open to receiving more information about cloth diapering classes or information sessions, but the sales associate never mentioned any other options for education.

We stopped at Diaper Fairy Cottage on a Sunday afternoon to look at their baby carriers. While we were waiting, we stopped in the cloth diaper room. We were totally new to the cloth diaper world so asked the associate about it. She was so incredibly knowledgeable! She took time to show us each and every diaper system. We left with a two week trial of cloth diapers! So far, we are loving it! The owner, Emily, even called to introduce herself, let us know a product we inquired about would be available in about a week, and to see how we were liking cloth diapers. This shop is the cutest baby/kid boutique! You can tell that Emily and her employees are passionate about their products and want to educate others. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking for baby items, cloth diapering, and baby wearing! You will not be disappointed! We will be frequent shoppers!

The Diaper Fairy Cottage is a one-stop shop for all things cloth diapering. Their informative classes give newbies the information to feel confident in cloth diapering, explain the difference in style and help make getting started easier. The Cottage would be a great place to have a baby registry, even if you choose not to cloth diaper. Their retails section is packed with adorable gifts for mom and baby, even items for older siblings. If you need a unicorn horn, fairy wand, or superhero cape its a safe bet the Cottage has what youre looking for. Also, the diaper service made diapering my second child in cloth so easy, especially with the diaper drop off and pick ups.
