I was shopping at the Panama City Target with my 21 year old daughter recently. My daughter has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. She began to have some seizure activity, so I sat her down in the aisle before she fell down. I asked another shopper if they would please go to the front of the store and ask a Target employee to bring us a wheelchair. My daughter was in a lot of distress and felt sick, in addition to the seizure activity she was experiencing. Long story short, she needed to get to a bathroom, but she could not walk. The customer who went in search of a Target employee soon returned with said employee, but no wheelchair. The employee tried to get me to let her call an ambulance. I told her that we did not need an ambulance, my daughter was still responding to my questions and was still breathing fine. I reiterated the pressing need for a wheelchair, and the woman just stood there looking at me like I was crazy. During this time, ANOTHER Target employee made an appearance...also without a wheelchair. At this point my daughter was in even more distress, she feared that she was about to have a bowel movement on the floor in the middle of Target surrounded by customers and idiotic Target employees who for some reason could not understand how to respond to a request for a wheelchair. I was literally BEGGING these store employees for a wheelchair to get my daughter to the restroom. Instead of making one move to help us, these Target employees stood there looking at us like we were crazy people. Finally, an elderly lady who was using a motorized chair came down the aisle and heard me begging the employees for a chair. She got out of the chair she was using and insisted that we put my daughter in it. I gratefully accepted her help and she and I, along with the people that were shopping with her, were able to get my daughter up off the floor, into the chair, and to the restroom without further incident. Today I called the manager of this Target store to inform him of the incident and to let him know that his employees seem to be in dire need of training in order to assist shoppers with special needs. He seemed basically unconcerned, and pointed out that Target does not provide regular wheelchairs in their stores anymore. Apparently they provide "Carolyns Carts", which allow a special needs adult to ride in the front of a shopping cart. I asked him if he were actually suggesting that the reason we received NO help from his staff members was because I did not call out for a "Carolyns Cart" instead of a wheelchair. He did not have an answer for that. I would like for this manager and each of the Target employees that refused to help my daughter to be sitting on the floor in the middle of that store, with their vision going in and out, unable to stand or walk, stomach roiling, needing to evacuate their bowels, surrounded by staring customers and Target employees who refuse to give them the dignity of assistance to a bathroom. My daughter has special needs. This does not mean it is ok to humiliate her by withholding help. I am furious with the Target employees, and the Target management who barely listened to my complaint. There is NO reason any human being should be treated like this. (Ironically, the manager I spoke to told me that one of their "regular customers" had contacted him to tell him how wonderfully the Target staff assisted us in our time of need. I informed him that this customer must have somehow missed the part where I was literally begging his store employees for a wheelchair and not one of them made a single move to provide one.)

On a recent visit, the diaper changing station in the womens room fell down hitting me on the head after Id put it up and was readjusting things in my diaper bag. Also, this same visit my 2 year old daughter cut her knee when walking by one of the poles between the check out lanes. I, naturally, informed the front area (customer service) and left a corporate message as Ive NEVER experienced this in my life of Target shopping. I was contacted within 48-72 hours if I recall and apologized to. We returned just the other day and the pole was duct taped around and the changing station was already down but appeared to be as lose as it was in my last visit. I honestly dread going in here with my kids. The people are also very... Uninviting. Correction, the cashiers tend to be more friendly, but mainly because they HAVE to talk to you and the six foot rule doesnt apply to anyone else in the store. Its not my standard of Target at all. I would give it fewer stars, but we always find fun clearance things my kids dont need.

I give Target 3 stars because of the bull crap theyre doing with its stores. I personally have not seen a "transgender male" go into the girls bathroom, but these days, its hard to tell. Thats just crap. Also they removed all of the Bibles off the shelves because they "offend people." Their prices are way too high on somethings, compared to Wal-Mart but there are the occasional items that are on clearence and super cheap. The staff is always friendly and they are always well stocked. I rarely go to Target. Its usually for itema that I know WalMart wont have that I dont want to overpay for somewhere else.

The staff is friendly and always looking and willing to help you find what you are looking for and if they dont have it, they are more then willing to look up the nearest Target that does have it, place a call and have them put the item on hold for you. While some prices, (clothing and grocery primarily,) are a little pricey, with the use of their Cartwheel app, and Target Red Card, they can be just as affordable as any other major retailer. I would rather pay a few more dollars here and be treated like a Guest, then save little more to be treated like an inconvenience at Wal-Mart.

Target still offers the ability to scan stuff into your registry and offer a small starter bag for new babies. Walmart only offers this online. Im sorry, but my pregnant wife doesnt want to sit in a chair picking out what she wants online. That is my job to do with Amazon. Instead she is able to get that hands on experience at Target and scan it all in at the same time.

I am impressed at how neat and clean this store is even years after they opened. We visited the pharmacy and were delighted at the extra time and effort Jody took to chat with us while he was checking our prescriptions and then offering extra information on them.

Cashier was not friendly which is unusual for Target. I had a mobile coupon from Target and she snapped at me that they didnt accept it. I would need to download it first. She could have just explained it to me rather than snap at me.

Very kind, courteous individuals working at this Target. Just dont appreciate the store manager buying items before the customer can see them or have a chance to purchase, when they go on clearance.

This store is always clean. The kids clothing are more in style than other big box stores in the area. Expect to spend a little more over the competitors unless you catch the sales.
