When it comes to the Burlington Coat Factory, there the 2nd most expensive place to go to next to that of the mall. As for how they treat there workers, and staff, they never give you raises, or health care or anything of that nature regardless of what you do or how long you been there, being much worse then that of walmart, plus to lie and mislead people into thinking there going to get raises and such and always taking hours away, and the only real raise anyone has ever gotten in that store was only when the state minimal wage went up. If anything people shop lift there just as much as they do shopping there, and while costumer service is important one shouldnt have to go to such extremes to please people that shop there and trash the store day in and day out knowing half the people that shop there are trashy, and act trashy about how they treat people that work. I know this because I used to work there, and I also shop there quite often. In my opinion this store sucks, thats not slander or opinion, thats a fact, because I remember back when it was a value city, and this place isnt a value city, far from it and much worse.

As I walked toward the exit door, after I spent almost $300.00 on merchandise (i.e., kitchen items, baby clothes, baby bedding sets, Christmas ornaments), at Burlington Coat Factory this afternoon, a lady (customer service representative) approached me, checked my bags, and said a sensor tag may not have been removed from one of the items. She took my bag to the counter, checked everything, and removed the sensor tag. As I was walking away from the counter with a cart "full of merchandise", she said I "cannot" take the cart outside of the store with me and that I would have to leave the cart inside the store. SMH... If I did not already purchase the gifts and was not press for time, I would have returned everything to Burlington Coat Factory and gone shopping elsewhere. I CANNOT take your cart to my car to empty the things that I purchased from your store, then I do not need to waste anymore of my time or money shopping at your store.

Contrary to the last post, this is a decent place to shop. The key to savings is to NOT shop the separates on the floor, but to go to the back right of the womens section where all of the racks are. That is where the real savings are, not on the floor where they are setting up the separates and putting outfits together. Not only that, but the racks are huge and have a tremendous selection. It takes time to go thru everything, but with a little patience, you WILL find great deals. I shop there all the time and find the store to be clean and well organized. I recently got 6 dress pants, 7 tops/sweaters, socks, 2 umbrellas, a purse....and all for under $150. You tell me where else you can shop that cheaply and Ill go there! Only downfall is that they never seem to have enough registers open. I rate my review strictly as a shopper, not a disgruntled employee, so take your pick who you listen to.

I recently shopped at this location and found some really great deals! I found an infant cart cover for $10.98 when the EXACT same one is at Wal-Mart as we speak for $25.00! I always check the clearance racks! That is where the best deals can be found! You do have to search a little, but its completely worth it! I found a pretend pizza set with toppings to go with my daughters play kitchen for $1.99!! The set includes over 60 pieces! One thing I do not like about these stores is not being able to take the carts outside...the carts lock and do not let you push them out the door- great for lazy employees that dont like to retrieve carts, bad for customers like myself that have 3 kids with me :(

Pricey but always check out clearance racks theres were the best breaks kick in. Really need more staff at both locations. Cancel your layaway and they take there fee and hand you back the rest on their gift card...what the heck is that about. Making sure they get their dollars.
