I love the way the store is arranged, so you find supplies for your crafts easy. Enployees are always available to answer questions about products and give good advise on what product is the best to use for a project. I attended a private class there yesterday in which the teacher tought me how to use a portable old sewing machine. She answered all my questions clearly, she explained step by step and then gave me some paper copies to use with my machine as if the paper would be fabric, to practice. It was a good and fun class and I will return to a project class later on when I master the basics learned yesterday.

I took a "Lazy Pants" sewing class at Joanns in Topeka. The class was very informative and fun. The one downside to the class was the cost of the materials, though. Neither the staff nor the instructor informed the class participants that the materials would cost at least $35+ on top of the fee for the class. Similarly, we werent told about the need to use coupons at Joanns in order to pay a reasonable price for items. I think the class would have been more enjoyable had Joanns and the instructor been more forthcoming about the costs of materials.

I had a wonderful experience on my last visit to purchase fabric from JoAnnes. I was having trouble with the quilt I was making for a friend and really needed help to finish the project. A friendly employee named Jessica immediately assisted me with finding the perfect material AND provided tips that actually worked. I wish more business had employees like her! Lots of choices I was looking for something fabric to use for backing for a babys quilt and I found the most perfect fabric just the colors to help bring out the top colors. Found it at Jo annn fabrics I was very impressed with the selections available as well as the price of my small but important purchase.

Best Joann Ive ever been to! Im from out of town and wish my local Joann was like this because mine is absolutely terrible. I probably wont bother shopping at my Joann ever again, and just wait to shop here on my Kansas visits. Love this store, and the manager and staff are great!

The store is well organized, clean, and staff is friendly. You can often find coupons or deals for all kinds of supplies each week. They also offer discounts for teachers with an ID.
