Every time I make an independent, grown-up decision about my scooter I inevitably wish I had spoken with the boys at Scooter World first. Every time. The people that make up the team at Scooter World are amazing. They are dedicated, intelligent, skilled and swift! The prices are always the best I can find and the service, both personally and mechanically, are the finest in the city. No, I am not exaggerating. I love this place. I kind of want to live there. My most recent successes with the team begin with David, the Master Scooter Wizard. He magically transformed my 2015 Honda Metropolitan from an attractive (but embarrassingly slow) hill-climber to a lithe and lean Ward Parkway Speedster! It took about 40 minutes and one wave of his wrench-shaped wand. This guy needs to wear a fancy, pointed hat with stars and carburetors. If he hadnt been able to make such a significant difference in the operation of my scooter I would have sold it- two weeks after it was purchased. Thank you, David for saving me such agony. Even more recently, the gents at Scooter World were able to fit me in for a service that a powersports dealership grandly pushed aside. They did it on the spot, in less time than the dealership required (about 25% of the time) and for less money. Once again- why do I try and go elsewhere? As of today, I dont. Thank you to everyone at Scooter World. Everyone! Even the people that wander in the door are nice! And, honestly, you have made my life much easier. I have no worries about the condition or safety of my scooter or myself because I believe so strongly in your work. Thank you. And David... what size wizard hat do you wear? All my best, Matthew Brady

Ive had Scooterworld service several bikes all with good results. In the springtime the shop is very busy because everybody wants their scooter NOW, when the weather turns nice. Ive found there time estimates to be reasonably accurate. Understand when you have 25 bikes in queue you cant 100% guarantee a time frame, you simply do not have control over every possible circumstance, let alone parts....Getting parts can take a serious amount of time. Furthermore when you have a full service bay it means your doing something right. Sure they make mistakes, who hasnt? But theyve also done things for free and Ive seen Mike on several occasions work to make the customer happy, myself included. I find that when the shop is hectic its best to make followup calls to check progress and be polite. Scooterworld fills their niche market very well. They keep the showroom full, they have a reasonably good supply of common parts for the lines they sell(they had my brake handle and rollers in stock). I think given the small market, they do an admirable job. Ive been to the "other" shops but I prefer with Scooterworld.

All i can say about this place is my last experience with them. I dropped off my bike to get a simple hose fixed. When I got there to pick it up, the owner started the engine in front of me... and after it ran for 30 seconds, the screws in the handle bars fell out because they didnt tighten them properly. When I left, I realized that my horn had been disabled and my turn signals no longer worked, which are really two of my only safety features on the Stella Scooter. I called them about it and they said the next time I bring it in, they would fix those problems and log it in their system. Well, I called in to confirm that they would indeed fix those problems they created, and the guy on the phone said that the conversion was not in the system and seemed very skeptical that it was there responsibility to fix it. He said he would have the owner call me. Still waiting for that phone call.

I purchased a used 2009 SYM in June 2013 with about 2K miles on it, and the sales guy said it had never been laid down, and all service was recently done. They also promised to get a spare key from SYM. I rode the scooter a couple of weeks before checking the air filter. It was the stock original filter, never changed (filthy). So I checked the spark plug, stock-never has been replaced (filthy). So I changed the oil and gear oil. Both looked old. Flushed the coolant, tons of sediment (Coolant probably never changed since factory 2009 either). It is a shame these guys are allowed to be KYMCO dealers, cause thats a good brand and these guys are dishonest liars..... BTW Still waiting on that spare key. Over 3 months now.

Had my scooter serviced last year, service was terrible, the mechanic was swamped with 20 other scooters, took them 3 weeks to do a simple carb clean, I was told my scooter was ready for pickup, when I showed up they were still working on it, gas was leaking out the carb, was told that they would order a part online and fix my carb, a year later never heard anything back, a local dealership for my brand scooter is only a couple miles away to get parts, the sales guy was also incompetent and knew nothing about scooter tuning, I was told that just replacing my exhaust pipe would make my scooter go 50mph. Take my advice and avoid scooter world, theres way better options.

This was the first scooter dealer I ever came in contact with. I was welcomed into the shop and received a great disortation from a guy who worked there. He was very helpful, friendly, and accomodating. I later found out it was the store owner. What a down to earth guy! I was purchasing the scooter for economic reasons and wanted to get a good deal on a new scooter. After some haggling, they gave me a price I couldnt refuse! Now I own a Buddy 125. Their scooter repair service is excellent. The other employees I came in contact with were ok, nice people, but the owner was the real star. I hope to buy my wife a scooter there soon :)

ScooterWorld saved my bacon. I pulled into the lot on a hot saturday ready for the big ride only to discover oil leaking from the engine. David Amir the mechanic then proceeded to save my bacon. A quick diagnosis revealed I had improperly installed an oil seal the night before. They had a new seal in stock, installed it with time to spare. A big thanks to scooterworld and David.

These guys are great. Ive purchased three scooters from them over the years and will be back for more. I had a hard to track down electrical issue on one of my scooters, they were able to nail it and get me up and running pretty quick. Great sales staff. Mike is not only the owner of the shop, but a great scooter enthusiast as well.

Just bought a Buddy Kick here. Everyone at the shop was amazing; buying the scooter was a super easy process start to finish. One of the best things about this shop is the sticker price on the bike is what you pay, there are no surprise fees added later like at most power sports stores. Will definitely be back.
