**WARNING** All the negative reviews on here are true. I experienced a little bit of everything. I dropped my scooter (in one piece) off at The Bike Shop to get it running. I received my scooter back still not running and in pieces! The painstaking process lasted a little over a month. I constantly called since Mark (the owner) would almost never keep me informed. I believe he called once to see if I wanted to go ahead with the purchase of a few parts. All other calls were made by me! Hell, it seemed like I was doing some of the work. One thing to be aware of is the price per hour they charge. I was not aware, but The Bike Shop charges $110 an hour! Go to a reputable car dealership and ask them how much they charge, youll be surprised at the similar prices. Also they will try to nickel and dime you. I wouldnt say Im super mechanically inclined, but I usually do my own work and I know the basic concepts behind motors. So by nickel and diming I mean that Mark tried to sell me a valve adjustment job on a two stroke scooter. Go Google how a two stoke works, then youll see that its not possible. Another nickel and diming event happened when supposedly they had my scooter running and was ready for pickup. I went to pick it up and it all of a sudden didnt run. He said my carburetor was completely gummed (clogged) and needed some ultrasonic cleaning (another $100). There was more, but there is no need to give anymore examples as you probably are starting to get my point. Finally, came the pickup day. I called (like always) and he tells me that he gives up on it. He says they are too busy and wont finish mine... What am I not a paying customer? Why do other customers get their bike worked on first? Either way, I have never heard that excuse before from a shop. When I arrived I was greeted by a calm Mark. He told me that all I owed him was JUST the cost of the original parts that were replaced and not all the B.S. he tried to sell me later on. Then my friend pointed out that he also charged me for labor ($80 worth of labor for not even solving the problem!) Mark exploded and rudely questioned my friend. I ultimately agreed to 160 some dollars so I could safely leave with my scooter, but here are the facts ladies and gents: Avoid The Bike Shop Because: *They cant fix a scooter, how are they going to fix anything more complex? *I went home and put the pieces back on my scooter and I was missing screws here and there *$110/hr labor rate! * Rude and horrible communication. All in all was a bad experience and I advise you take it elsewhere to save yourself some trouble and $$$. - Derek PS: Quit boosting your score... Two of the screenname/nicknames are dead giveaways. "Mark" and "the bikes shop" are obviously people associated with the shop not real customers giving real reviews. Mark and his crew may know multi-cylinder engines, but they sure as hell fail when it comes to single cylinder Asian bikes. Also since I feel like "the bikes shops" review was directed towards me for being stupid enough for buying a Chinese scooter Ill let the readers know that I did contact this place before hand to make sure they worked on them so no they were not forced by nature to take on my scooter. They just lacked the knowledge and experience to fix the problem.

Lets see were can I even begin with this so called bike shop.. When my friend dropped his bike off I questioned him about dropping it off at this place, seeing that it looked like a chop shop parts everywhere bikes/scooters you name it all sitting right next to each other nothing looked in place nothing looked put together. My friend stated that this place was a good place so we dropped it off over the course of a little over a month he messed my friend around. Im not going into details that is between my friend and the owner who has posted a review below. The problem that I had with this shop was being verbally abusive towards my friend and me, Mark the owner stated that he couldnt fix the bike. I assisted my friend in picking up the bike. I heard Mark say "Ill tell you what Derek, Ill only charge you for parts and not for labor, seeing that we couldnt get your bike running." Derek promptly agreed. I even thought that wasnt a bad deal at all seeing and understanding that they had trouble with it. I thought that was fair of Mark to only charge for parts. He gave Derek a receipt from his computer my friend Derek gave him a credit card, Mark asked if he could pay in cash?? (Tax evasion). Derek said no cash, only credit card. When he was charging Derek, I noticed it said LABOR in big bold lettering that listed $81.62. When I questioned Derek about this and pointed it out, Mark talked with fury, angry, and was very verbally abusive towards me. Insisting I tell him who I was. I told him in a calm matter who I was and questioned him. He probably didnt expect me to post this on here but seeing how much stress and aggravation my buddy Derek went through I had to write this. Mark, from a customer or a future customer you should have treated me with the utmost respect. I felt verbally abused. I would never ever come to this place he will lie right in front of your face. He told me it was non of my business. Mark it is my business to see that a dear friend does not get messed around and charged for something that was never fixed. Mark on another note you may want to take your google review sticker out of your window. Next time you should think twice before opening your big mouth to a customer. I will spread the word in the local forums of this "Bike Shop" to stay far away from this dreadful place.

Never owned a motorcycle of my own so when i bought it at first of summer i figured id have to leave it in the shop for weeks because of time of year, which i figured would be normal!.. so when i jokingly said i would like back for holiday weekend! we both laughed!! So imagine my surprise when the call came in 2hrs before weekend that it was fixed!! only 2 days later!! I however grew up around auto shops my whole life & am aware of the problems that can pop up & the fun customers that want it back "right now" or everything for nothing! Which can turn mechanics pretty non social after awhile! But not these guys! for a guy that owns that kind of shop to take the time to go over a few things about the bike with me that i could do to save money! I was more than alittle shocked!,( takes money out of his pocket) that & and the personable attitude With the Owner (Mark) which i havent met to many guys in garages that even wanna take the time to be on any first name basiss @ all!!! & The Other mechanic in the back is just flat out one of the nices most knowledgeable guys ive ever met!! ive sent 3 people there since & they said same thing ! didnt really get the bad scooter review making any since at all!! i did see them take one from a pile of parts & drive it out in one day!! the only sad thing on motorcycles is you cant get parts in town mostly so it takes a bit longer than cars cause they have to order them!! Ive taken my bike back twice, to add extras & everytime they have shown me things that could use some attention or went ahead & fixed a little thing, Without charge! one thing i had to pay for was a no brainer, no prob! Long Review! but never done one before & the first time i ever thought any business took care of me good enough to take the time!! These Guys are worth the drive!!!!
