BEWARE OF SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! I lost the key to my 4-wheeler. I took it to Country Cycle in Winterset, IA. Up to this point it had 146 hours, and ran exactly as I expected. I asked them to service the machine while we waited on the new key to ship. A few days later they called to say it was finished and I could come pick it up. I got home and ran the machine for about 20 minutes before it made a horrendous sound, so I loaded it back up and took it back to Country Cycle in Winterset, IA. This is where I met Rusty, and expressed my displeasure with my experience thus far. He said he would look in to it immediately. ...3 weeks later... Rusty calls and informs me that "a nut at the base of the motor was loose, and all the oil pumps out when you run the machine. The damage caused inside motor will cost $1900 to fix." Rusty and Country Cycle accept ZERO responsibility for this damage. The 4-wheeler ran fine with no leaks, and the motor had oil it when I brought it to them. 20 minutes after their service department released it to me the oil is gone, and the motor is destroyed. Rustys response? "Those motors are mounted on rubber so there is lots of vibration...must have vibrated loose...these things happen, no way was it our fault." They accept ZERO responsibility for the damages to my now worthless machine. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COUNTRY CYCLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!

My first experience with Country Cycle was back in Nov of 2009 when I purchased my Voyager 1700. I was so pleased with the way Mr. Don Clark had priced out this motorcycle for me. I asked him for the out the door price so I could get my loan. He gave it to the very first time & a great price at that. I did check around with another dealer just to be given a complete run around. I could never get them to give me the out the door price until after I already commented to Country Cycle. I have purchased several items from County Cycle with great prices & friendly staff. Ive also had my bike serviced there several times (just maintenance) with friendly & knowledgeable staff that took care of everything I asked for. I drove the extra mileage so I could feel like I was a person rather than a number. Mr.Clark has several times gone way past customer service for me.

The staff at Country Cycle is awesome! I have been to a number of different dealers throughout the state and these guys are hands down the best. The service was fast, affordable and done right the first time. I would highly recommend them for any of your service or purchase needs. They may not be the biggest but they are the epitome of "small town hospitality" and will certainly do their best to treat you right.

By far the best shop around! Before you spend a dime elsewhere talk to these folks. I have now purchased three bikes and a quad from Country Cycle and wont buy from another shop. They have a very friendly atmosphere where customers become friends. The service department is quick, honest, and trustworthy. They really know the machines here! Many times they also have better prices for parts than online suppliers.

I had an issue with my Kawasaki Mean Streak where it was leaking oil (I know, it doesnt seem right). After a quick look, they noticed that I had a slight hole in my cam chain tensioner cap. They ordered me a new part and just had me put it on. Great service and always a warm greeting whenever you walk in the door. I highly recommend Country Cycle to anyone looking for a good bike or ATV.

Have an older Honda 3 wheeler that needed some work. Called local dealers for an estimate which I though was too high. Looked for service centers around DM to get estimates and found Country Cycle. They were fair and reasonable and did a great job. Well worth the short trip to Winterset.
