I have purchased 2 Triumphs from Belle Plaine Motorsports as well as accessories for both the motorcycle(s) and myself and I have nothing but the best service before and after the sale. They have a very friendly knowledgeable staff who have always gone beyond the norm to make sure I am truly satisfied. I consider the staff friends of mine. I first ordered a 2012 Triumph Bonneville T-100 from Belle Plaine in 2011 when the bike was still in the factory in England. Amber at Belle Plaine kept me up to date on the status of the bike as it made its way to Minnesota. Answering all my questions as they came up. I put over 3000 miles on the motorcycle before being cut off by a car while riding near my home. I walked away from the accident, but the insurance company totaled the bike. I called Belle Plaine to see what I could do to replace the bike and Belle Plaine worked hard with Triumph to track down 1 of 2 2013 Bonneville T-100 All Black models to replace my 2012. It is really nice to know there are still people out there that care about their customers. I know if I need something, have a question, or have an issue they have my back always. My wife recently bought a gift for me for our anniversary from Belle Plaine and remarked how nice the staff was and what a great experience she had her first time in the store. I was very happy to hear that. Great job Belle Plaine Motorsports.

I am taking a road trip on my bike and I planned to leave in 4 days. My bike wouldnt start and I didnt know what could be wrong. I put the bike on my trailer and hauled it down to Belle Plaine Motorsports. They helped me 2 years ago and I was hoping they could help me again. I also had a second minor issue I wanted them to fix. The service manager said they assured me they would look at it and barring any major parts issue, they would have it back to me in time for my trip. Thinking there was a chance there was a bad battery, I preselected the battery I needed, returned home and waited. At the end of the day, they called to say my bike was running fine and all the second issue needed was some sealant. The sealant had to cure so I could pick up the bike at noon the next day. I went in to pay for the repair and was surprised at the cost. I was expecting over $100 for the time they spent on it, It was half that. The cost of repair was the same surprise I had 2 years ago. The things I like most is that they check the things you should check regularly and dont and when they fix your bike, it stays fixed. I wont have to worry any of those 3,500 miles I plan to ride in a couple of weeks.

They may know how to "sell" stuff, but they do not know how to"fix" stuff. I got a recommendation from another party that they were honest and knowledgeable, but our experience was not that at all. We brought a UTV in which sat in their shop for two months, then brought it home (after spending $505.84) only to NOT have it start literally 18 hours later! Of course they said they would make it good, just bring it in. That entails my husband taking a half-day off work, coming home and getting out the trailer, pushing the UTV into the trailer, cording it down, coupling it to the truck, and THEN hauling it all the way back to Belle Plaine (we live in Prior Lake). Ask me why we opted to try this place? Because we had bad experiences with the local small engine repair (specifically Valley Motor Sports) We were depending on the "expert" here, but I guess they think more highly of themselves than they ought. (I will not bring insult here) Dont go here. Two months and over $500 later and our UTV does not even start . . .

Purchased a used 2006 Triumph 1050 ST ABS. Sales person made sure I was comfortable with the condition of the bike and assured me it was fully inspected to the highest standards. I looked over bike and questioned the rear brakes and was assured it could not pass inspection if it was not good. I just wanted to make sure the bike was good to ride and did not need immediate repairs or maintenance. As you could have guessed, within three weeks I had rear brake metal on metal contact. I also found the seat/saddle to be completely loose and only held in by the weight of the rider. I only found this after a few days, I guess they did not screw it back in. Battery needed changing after very weak starts. The throttle grip would slip also (another safety issue). It is my fault to have trusted a sales person but then again, this is a dealer and you pay the extra premium for the peace of mind; at least I thought I was. Very disappointed. They also refused to help and gave me run around with every complaint.

They do not treat their customers right! It took two and half months to order a SxS which was a month and half longer than what they said it would take. When I would call in to check on the status of my order, an employee named Mike was disrespectful and acted as though I was bothering him when I asked for an update of the order status. When my SxS finally came in, it sat in their shop for a few days before they even attempted to have it ready for me to pick up and then they noticed not all the parts were in so I had to wait another week for them to order parts. I was finally so fed up with them being unprofessional that I took my business to a different dealer which gave me a discount of accessories since I was buying the SxS from them and lost out on my down payment to Belle Plaine even though they had not kept up their end of the deal on delivering the product on time and with respect to their customer.

My whole experience with Belle Plaine motorsports was beyond excellent. I was deciding between a street and speed triple and the salesperson, Mike, went above and beyond in making sure I got the motorcycle that was right for me. He even arranged to have me test ride both models even though there wasnt a speed triple available, now thats excellent service! I live about an hour from Belle Plaine so there are closer places to go for service, but I still choose to go back to BPMS for my service. I bought my speed triple about a year and a half ago now and Mike still knows me by name. Couldnt be happier with my purchase. I cant recommend BPMS enough.

“I have been in the store many times, kicking tires and dreaming. I bought a new Triumph last year and had a very good experience with Mike, Amber and later, the service tech that installed the add-ons I bought. I have had a couple of service appointments for oil and tires and found them to be accommodating in scheduling and proficient with the work. If there is one thing I would like, and maybe its available, is a courtesy / demo bike to ride while service is being done. Who knows, it might be the next model I buy! I will continue to do business with Belle Plaine Motorsports and recommend them to others.”
