I have never been so rudely disrespected in a retail store before, by about 3 people on 3 different occasions. Im a ferret owner, was interested in holding a little guy that was there on 9/18/16. After waiting about 15 minutes a women came up and asked if I needed help, and I said yes Id like to hold him, and she said no its cold and flu season, the ferrets can get sick, Which I know. But it isnt cold and flu season. And I told her theres Hand sanitizer right on the side of the ferrets. And she rudely starting grabbing for her keys, and said "well are you getting him?" In the rudest tone. And I just walked away. Come to find out, shes a manager. Store is poorly maintained, fish tanks are absolutely disgusting. I will never go back to that Petco ever again, I will gladly drive 3 hours to the in Ames IA that I get help in immediately and am allowed to hold their ferrets. I wouldve have put 0 stars but it made me put at least one.

Great customer service. Employees are always so kind, caring, patient, and amazing with my puppy!!! Couldnt ask for a better place to shop for my growing baby girl! We have always had dogs and always gone to Petco, and we have NEVER had any issues whatsoever with them or any of their products. Highly recommend to all my pawsome furbaby parents!!! Oh and their selection of baked treats by the registers always gets 2 paws up from my puppy!!! (if she could do all 4 at once I know she would)

Good selection, clean store, carry most major brands, and lots of stuff you didnt know you needed. :-) Only downside was only one checker for the fifteen people waiting to make their purchases. Should have opened another one, but we didnt see any other employees around to help the younger cashier up front.

Looked like a good selection of animals and supplies. However, the store is really dirty. The fish tanks looked gross and the floors are stained. There are products out of place throughout.

They have everything from small animals to 40 lb bags of dog food. They welcome your pet to shop with you, or will groom your pet while you shop.
