I bought a saddle bag and a few smaller items. I decided to return a few of the smaller items and the owner gave me a hard time for returning them, trying to make me feel guilty. When he told me the amount he was going to refund, told him that didnt include tax to which he said he wasnt going to include it because he would be losing money. I felt this was not a professional way of doing business. Dont offer returns if your worried about the credit card fees during the return process! Im all about supporting local business as I am a business owner myself but when your prices are at a premium, you should provide premium service as well. For these reasons I will take my business elsewhere.

Just bought a Graduate Mixtie bike from them--a huge improvement to my oversized, nearly 30 year old Schwinn. The owner Daniel is very knowledgeable and let me test drive the Mixtie all over downtown. The ride convinced me and I rode home on a comfortable and durable bike that has a lot style. Dan even gave me a few pointers and was very pleasant and helpful. I will be back soon! Thank you Dan!

Dan at Ichi is the #1 guy in the Des Moines metro for ebikes. I took the plunge in 2015 and have not looked back. With roughly the same output I can travel much farther and ride longer. If I want I can use more power and still go out the next day and ride all day which I cant do anymore on my traditional bike. Ichi is great!

This shop has it going on! Creative, fun, and practical bikes. Parts, both new and vintage are reasonably priced. If you have to find parts for a vintage bike these guys can help you. Sick custom builds and great service. Its not just a bike shop its a cool experience. Bringing back fun on two wheels! Love these guys.

Ive now bought and built up two bikes through Ichi, plus had lots of service done. Dan and his team are great to work with. Theyre particularly knowledgeable about electric, cargo, and custom bikes -- but they always have great stuff in stock and can work on anything. Des Moines is lucky to have them!

A great place to buy a bike! I bought an electric bike there (IZIP Path Plus) and absolutely love it. The staff is great and the service is the best youll find anywhere! Nice selection of accessories, also. If service after the sale is important, look no further than Ichi Bike!

Ichi bike is amazing. Dan did a great job with customizing my husbands cruiser! I love my old cruiser that he decked out with new wheels & rims! Great place for a sweet old custom bike that is one of a kind.
