Shopped at this mall 40 plus years. A lot of changes over the years. It used to be an open mall n entrance to each store from outside. Nice when they enclosed it. Stores have come n gone. Need more stores brought in n utilize the original lower level where offices are. The newer lower level has had many stores come n go too. Coming from me, I like parking under the lot above and entering down there. There needs something done to draw attention to that lower end level. I see it because I park there. I do not even know what is even down there or can you still circle through by the restrooms? Westdale was newer built and never seemed to grow n now been torn down. Lindale is it right now. Grown n many changes offering more n looking nicer all the time. I think Lindale messed up by not working out whatever problems that led to the closing of history to many... Bishops cafeteria was like the icon of the mall. It has never felt the same to me again. Keep bringing more desired stores n other to bring people in n add something exceptional to bring more in!!! How about a Rainforest Cafe??? Best mall I like is Coralridge in Coralville but too far to go much.

I have visited Lindale several times in the past months. While it is a good location, the shopper experience is forgotten. You show up and only by the grace of great do you find a parking spot. Typically its easier to park in a local fast food joint and walk. Once you enter the building you are immediately assaulted with food vendors and pushy salespeople. You breathe a sigh of relief as you finally make it to the main walkway, but NO. In your path there are at least 8 trolley cart salespeople trying to railroad you into a useless product. The only good experiences I have had recently are by entering the Sears store directly, or by visiting an attached restaurant directly through their front door.

We had not been there for a while, but we decided to make a quick stop last time we were in Cedar Rapids. I needed wifi to do something online. I had some difficulty getting logged in to the public wifi. Eventually connected and everything went great. Once that was done we finally got a good look at the shops. The holiday games and calendars shop was well stocked and I took home a great puzzle and a few other things too! The jewel of the mall, in my short visit, was the candy shop. With a great array of candies from several different time periods, the shop is worth a stop. Add on fudge and flavored popcorn and you need to go!

The Lindale Mall had managed to keep its stores mostly filled, though the lower levels and food court havent fared as well. Besides the usual assortment of nationally recognized shops, theres a small foam play area for the pre-k crowd, a few local stores, some restaurants lining the front of the mall that are only accessible from the outside, and plenty of parking. The mall is also surrounded by several well traversed strip malls.

I stopped by Chipotle while passing by here; to get a bite to eat, very convenient how it is part of the mall, yet at the same time not. :) love the food. Although, Lindale really needs to quickly get back up on their game on some of their inside places, i.e. restaurants to eat at, cleanliness in their restrooms, and places to shop at. Sorry but your beginning to slowly go downhill...as Westdale did....

For the Cedar Rapids area its currently the closer one than the Coral Ridge. Food court separate from the main mall gives a LOT of seating area and room to breath after walking through the hectic shopping area. The main areas with shops have lots of room but are often packed. Its nice to come up for air with the decent selection in that calmer spot.

Lindale Mall is the greatest Mom to go and meet your friends and just hang out when you get tired they got benches you can sit down and organize a waterfall that you can sit right next to you and just you know lose your lose your mind not in a bad way but in a good way basically like medications or just cold but I give it five stars

The only mall in CR now. And n a constant decline, despite the multi-million dollar renovation. New food spots are nice, but thats about it. The stores are all pricey as they are charged insane amounts to vend in that building. The most consistent use of this mall over the years..... walkers. Mall Walkers at all hours of the day.

Not a great variety of stores, could use a remodel and revitalization. Food court is very lacking, but there are a variety of restaurants outside the mall. If you are looking for a mall with a lot of stores, your best bet is to go to Coral Ridge. There is pretty much just the bare minimum basics when it comes to stores.

Quiet, slow, lots of security, few shoppers. Food court almost empty of choices. I dont know whats happened here, being new to the area, but Im surprised the mall can stay in business. The stores are nice, the mall seems well kept. The star rating is due to no food court to speak of.

It renovated. I think its okay. The new entrance and sign are nice...and we got a few new stores and a rumored Chipoltle. However, still nothing special. K-Mart Plazas redoing will be better than the outcome of this...but still, its an improvement. Never liked those domes on the roof.

Decent mall, they keep it clean and it seems like a safe place. The only downside is that there are not many stores I like. I am not from here and this wouldnt even be considered A mall where Im from just because of how small it is. Otherwise it is not a bad place.

The shops are nice but it always feels like a mall on the edge of closing... The food court is half of what it used to be and they walled off half the windows to put Chipotle in... And the main concourse has a ghost town feel even though the stores are vibrant

Its currently the only mall we have in town. Its okay for what it is, but I tend to avoid it if possible. I only visit a few places and only walk through the mall if necessary to reach those stores. Could stand to be updated especially wants Westdale opens.
