Great experience shopping at this Claires location. There was plenty of selection for what I was looking for (hair clips). During the visit, the mall lost power for a few minutes. It came back quickly, but the register was still down by the time we were ready to check out. Erika, the employee working at the time, had no trouble ringing us up manually and applied the appropriate sale prices. She also answered my questions about my purchases in a friendly and helpful way. I would definitely recommend this location.

I did security at "Sycamore Mall," Iowa City, east side July 2001-Feb. 2004. During my time there a major remodeling project was in place. I was priveledged to get to know many of the owners, management, and vendors. There are also several other businesses on the property: McDonalds, Pet Land, Great Clips, and Laundromania to name a few. I submitted a pic of Laundromania because I still frequent this establishment for easy accessibilty and top quality laundry capabilities.

I enjoy shopping at Luckys, Drop Inn (thrift store), and Dollar Tree. We occasionally go see a movie here, or go to Paneras for a snack, and my husband likes to visit Radio Shack. Ill sometimes pop into Four Seasons. Would love to see more restaurants in this mall that is trying to revitalize itself. Easy parking, and easy to get to from Highway 6, and 1st Ave/Lower Muscatine.

Love the location. Not sure why, but Iowa City and Coralville make business access from the roads weird and compkicated and it hurts businesses. This mall suffers from being hard to access. Panera is my favorite. Dollar store here is a true all for $1 type. Nail salon is fair. Kids pkaybarea. Movie theater has GREAT deals. Game store is good.

Iowa city marketplace has really spruced up recently. Luckys was a great addition. Everything is technically connected inside but can be slightly irritating to get through depending where you are. Overall, good selection of low to mid range price stores for daily use. I wish they had another entrance on first ave, but oh well.

So not real happy with the service. I asked 2 different employees where something was both of them told me, didnt attempt to walk me to it to make sure i found it. Nope just said over there. Never found it! Then the customer service survey didnt work online either.

This is a growing marketplace that was revived with the opening of Luckys Market and has drawn several quality retail stores, such as DropInn, Panera Bread, Radio Shack, and Sally Beauty. Has a nice play area for children and a seating area for dining or relaxing.

I dislike many of the changes that have been made to the Sycamore mall, including its renaming. I think the worst change is that you are now cut off: People in the Paneras and radio-shack wing cant eaisly get to the cinema, HRblock, and Geek Store wing.

This is not the sycamore mall you might remember. It now has Panera, Luckys (groceries), a nail place, hobby corner, and a nice multi screen movie theater to name a few of the stores here. They also have an indoor play area for the little kids.

Not very big place but the cinemas are very good to go and watch a movie. It would be even better if they could synchronize their movies with some of the movies that are out in cinemas of bigger cities.

Restrooms were dirty, poor selection of stores. Best thing there is hobby corner, which is a lovely game and hobby store that has brewing supplies and model train stuff in addition to games!

Nicest grocery store on the east side. Coffee, arcade games (with one pinball machine) and did I mention good food! I often get pre-cooked items and eat in the spacious dining area.

Previously this mall was named sycamore mall that was closed due to lack of popularity. They have returned with new stores. It is a decent alternative for the Coral ridge Mall.

There is one store in what used to be an old mall. We didnt go to any of the other outlying stores though. I think the outlying stores looked much cleaner though

Good variety of stores. Is annoying that the marketplace is cut in half by Luckys, but its not too much of an annoyance. Wich there were more stores though.
