Discovered that Babies R Us likes to cut price tags for their items off when they receive them and charge 10%+ more than their online store or other stores in the franchise. They will honor their other stores or online stores prices, but dont expect to be able to use any coupon on the items. Its a scam, flat out, so you cannot use coupons and because ALL of their big ticket hot items are sold at ABOVE retail and they will only honor retail price with a "price match", seriously, price matching their own store? Okay? (Graco car seat is $329 in their store, $299 MSRP and retail price everywhere else) Something in management has changed the last few months. We have spent thousands at this store and with another baby on the way, were planning on spending quite a bit more, there is no way that is happening now. I hope theyre happy they saved their $40, and they can keep enjoying their empty parking lots. Heads up, one of the EMPLOYEES are getting on the internet saying that because we have returned 3 car seats (total) that it must be some kind of scam. The store has one of its employees bashing our names on the internet? Are they SERIOUS? How are they allowed to get on the internet to publicly blast customers? wow I assure you, were not scamming anyone. When we first plopped $300 on a car seat they acted like it was no huge deal to bring it back if it didnt work out. Kept telling us that it would be on our store account, you had 90 days to return it, dont worry about spending extra because they wouldnt give us flak over returns. That sounded amazing, its our first baby and spending $300 on a car seat or $300 on a stroller, not knowing how its going to work is a bit scary. $300 is a lot of money, I wouldnt have spent that much if I didnt have some kind of guarantee on the item, trust me. That kind of customer service is why we were spending so much money with them. But now one of the employees are getting on public sites and blasting us, saying we are scamming the store? I am furious and definitely not going to let this slide. Be careful with the store and be sure to check the prices of the items you buy. If you look at the big items and the UPC has an obvious cut-out, it meant the price tag the shipping warehouse stuck on the box was cut out so they could charge more than other babies r uss for the item. Oh, wanted to add. This particular store likes to carry items SLIGHTLY different than what is in their ad sheet. One item in particular is on sale, but they apparently dont carry it. They carry one that is almost identical, however, the one in the ad has red paint and the one they sell has blue paint.. or something like that.. My guess is this is some kind of last ditch effort to save a failing store. Screwing customers to save pennies, thatll definitely keep your doors open..

Arrived at the store at 9:21 to make a quick purchase, the store hours were listed as being open until 9:30 pm. The doors were already locked. Needless to say we had a heart broken toddler. If your doors wont be open until 9:30 pm do not list your open times until 9:30. Not good for business, we took our money elsewhere.
