I probably sound crazy but this TOYS R US in LAFAYETTE INDIANA holds a special place in my heart. As a kid I loved going here because I was a “Toys R Us Kid” but even now I enjoy it more than ever. First off I like to collect WWE Action Figures and Toys R Us has always had one of the best assortments of WWE merchandise and I remember buying my first wrestling figures here as a kid back in the early 1990s, which were The Mountie and The Undertaker from Playmate Toys. The aisles are arranged just right and as soon as you walk in the doors, you are bombarded with Toys and they change according to the season. They have had a BABIES R US in the store for a long time too. The employees are very friendly and sometimes too friendly. I have purchased items online and picked them up at the store as well, and those transactions have gone very smooth. But the reason I really love this place is because I was actually able to find an NES CLASSIC at this store. I went there to pickup an online order but decided to look at the wrestling figures too. Somehow I made it to the video game aisle and out of the corner of my eye I saw the NES CLASSIC sitting there on the shelf. Of course I was quietly freaking-out but I got the store clerk and he helped me check-out. I have never been so excited to buy something in my life, well except maybe my first car. So if theres a toy, video game, baby item, children clothes, bicycles, and just about everything else a kid would want, this TOYS R US has it. Oh did I mention they had HATCHIMALS during the 2016 Holiday Season when no one else had them, not even WALMART.

Employees are very helpful and friendly. I once left a shopping bag (paid for) at the bottom of my cart in the parking lot. I called the next day and they had retrieved it and saved it until I could pick it up a few days later. Even in the middle of the week, there are several employees around ready to help. Lastly, they have excellent clearance deals -- make sure to use the price scanners because clearance toys sometimes ring up for less than the display price.

Too expensive in this day and age. Wal-Mart, Game stop, and Amazon are hurting their sales. If they had lower prices and more exclusive toys then they would be more relative for the younger generation. They are, in my opinion, are surviving because of the generations of people who grew up in the 70s and the 80s who had children. They are the one purchasing toys com that store.

An employee rushed up to me and whispered, "I frequently beat my mother," before running to the back of the store and disappearing. I think this employee needs help. I was only able to get "Bla" from his name tag due to my dyslexia. Other than that the staff is friendly and had a great experience
