So today (June 10th) was cat day at this Petsmart location. The advertisement said that there was free cat tastings and samples so I assumed that meant it was alright to bring my cats in. I brought both of mine in and everything was great until we realized it was also dog adoption day. I love that Petsmart hosts dog adoption day, but it makes zero sense to have this on the same day as cat day. Both of my cats always love coming to Petsmart and riding around in the cart and smelling food, treats, etc and is usually a fun experience. Unfortunately, because of dog adoption day they were VERY stressed and we had to take them to the car and we could not enjoy cat day. I was looking forward to taking them in and letting them eat treats and food, but they were too upset to even think about food. I love the idea of having days dedicated to certain animals (dog day, cat day, reptile day, etc), but planning needs to be much better before they host something like this again.

I love PetSmart as opposed to leading pet supply chains. They always have great deals and promotions. The staff at this location is really helpful and kind, except the Saturday manager. She is disrespectful, was annoyed with our two coupons, and rude to the kind employee checking us out. This has actually happened twice at this location! But the store is always stocked well and the other employees are always helpful!

Adopted a 2-month-old cat 1 month ago. She came with fleas, which was sort of understandable. Then I found out she has cat herpes, which kinda sucks. Just got the news though that she also has FIV, the feline equivalent to AIDS. Beyond even the frustration this would incite, its taken me almost a week to try and come to a resolution, and Im having to contact management multiple times each step of the way.

I went to get hamsters awhile back from here. I asked employees for assistance. They made themselves scarce and ran away or walked around on cell phones. Their was a nice lady there from a dog adoption agency who tried to help even. All we could was shrug and leave. Rude and disrespectful employees. Dont expect assistance at this pet smart.

They are so gentle with my little Baby (Dog). He has actually gotten to the point where he isnt afraid to go in the grooming area. They all talk to him if we go walking through the store which he loves the attention. Ive been going to Petsmart for quite a few years and will continue to do so. Thank You, Diane Kay Browning

We have always went to Avon Pet Smart but due to them being completely booked we decided to use Plainfield Pet Smart. We will NEVER go there again! They only shampoo and trimmed nails yet we asked for grooming also and had to pay for grooming! (Which wasnt done!) Very bad service at Plainfield location!

Employees in fish section, were both very disrespectful and rude. I wanted a fish but they wouldnt let me buy one because I had a 20 gallon tank even after I told the employees I would buy a 29 Gallon fish tank for the fish I wanted, they still wouldnt let me buy the fish.

Absolutely LOVE this location. Great customer service, very caring staff and vet and the grooming department does an awesome job!! The trainer Dasha is amazing and very well experienced, professional, kind and informative. I wont go anywhere else!
