I am well over 40 and went to purchase some wine, along with a few groceries. I used the self scan (check out). After scanning the wine, I waited for a clerk to punch in the code that I was over 21. The clerk had to physically take MY license and scan it into their system because it was now Meijer policy to check my drivers license to make sure it was not fake. THE CLERK TOOK MY DRIVERS LICENSE AND SCANNED IT INTO THEIR SYSTEM, while I am not a conspiracy theory guy, I dont want Meijer having MY PERSONAL INFORMATION. I dont do their perks card because I want to have my shopping private. What is next, scan my health insurance if I purchase red meat and have heart condition?

Freshest produce, meats, poultry and plants in Plainfield. The bakery is the best though for freshness, taste and delicious delights. I would give five stars but they loose out on customer service. If you go there at 8 or 9 it doesnt matter how filled your cart is --say hello to self check out. Although some of the cashiers (CJ) will ring you up or at least help you bag. My sentiment is if you dont have enough staff to deliver all the services that you offer throughout the day shut the lights because us working folk shop outside of business hours too. Know Your Customers.

I stop in here frequently for items on the way home from work. Very convenient access to Dan Jones or Washington Ave. This location has everything you need. I even make use of the Great Clips here on a monthly basis. Check out lines are always open with hardly a wait. Produce is fresh. Aisles are clean and the staff are always checking on me to see if I need any help finding anything. Great store.

Cant count how often Ive found expired food on shelves - recently a specialty product was from Aug of LAST YEAR! They dont rotate products by expiration date. All theyve done since around summer is systematically drop foods that were the main reason I shopped there. Im considering driving to the Camby Meijer instead next week. Otherwise Ill just stop being a Meijer shopper.

Worst place to shop. Electronics employee was rude and waited 20 mins to get my game for my kid. Then when the employee came to help me he was very short with me. After that talked to a manager on duty and they said I dont know what to tell you. Will never come back here again. Avoid this place

As far as discount stores go, the new Meijer super centers are very nice and this is by far one of the cleanest, most pleasant of their stores that Ive been to. The workers are helpful. The product selection is fresh. The store is bright and cheerful and modern. Its a delight to shop here.

This has been my go to grocery store for the past year, great service, great prices, and a very clean store. The meijer Mperks app is also a great money saver and allows you to clip digital coupons and get rewards for spending certain amounts of money on certain products. 5 stars.

Good visit today. Always love the fresh local produce and several deli items. Wish the rotisserie chickens were bigger. Sure cant compare to Costco chickens. Usuallly the self check out lanes need assistance with nobody around, but today was well staffed.

I hate coming here. I come once a month to pick up a perscription prenatal vitamin that only they carry. I wait in the line at the pharmacy at least 20 minutes every time. The lines are always so long, even in the regular check out. Its very frustrating

I prefer this grocery store to all the others in Plainfield. Grocery selection is great, especially with fruits and vegetables. Using mperks can save you a decent amount of money especially if you have your pharmacy prescriptions filled here.

New, clean store that is well situated for easy access. It is about the same distance to Brownsburg as the Avon Meijer, but much better managed. Survived Back to School shopping at a reasonable cost with only one stop.

This location is always clean. It is well stocked, if I have trouble finding something at the Avon location, I can always find it here. Plus not nearly as busy as the Avon location, so you can get in and get out.

Its fairly new so its clean. The staff is about as helpful as any other super store. I.e not. I like it better than Wal Mart, although idk if its cheaper.
