Terrible place for humans to work. They dont let excellent employees such as myself work there again after pointing out all the flaws. When we had our quarterly meeting where employees are allowed to express to each other all of Amazons Major and obvious flaws, they required us to start with something positive, which is partly why I didnt speak up was because no one can pretend to say positive things about how this corrupt greedy business deals like the stereotypical American company. Imagine all horror stories of bad business, this ones got it all. Managers going behind employees back to get them fired, youll never clearly know whats expected of you because no one can be open and honest about what they truly expect; if they did it would be illegal. They allow an employee knowingly on crack remain because he picks 200% of rate. And when he gets to another department he likes yelling at people saying how lazy they are... If I were with him when he says that Id tell him, were not lazy, were just not on drugs!! They have a "locker of shame" with employee ID pictures for the ones they either dont like or who got fired within their training period. In their clinic where theyre supposed to care about the physical pain pickers get in trying to keep up with the IMPOSSIBLE rate, they treat your injuries with sarcasm and dismissing the injuries incurred on the job by walking too hard too long too fast (12 hours of physical labour)--saying rude dismissive things like "dont you walk other places?, oh, so you DO leave the house..." So all in all they have fake, unprofessional, lying managers working there, even putting fake product reviews on Amazon for a product that real customers told the flaws on. The same managers say "we dont want you fired" but they watch your every move and send others to do the same to catch you doing something wrong. Luckily I represented God well and never had anything for them to complain about. Its called blameless. I worked my best everyday and made consistent weekly rate of 85% which is a sign to professional non corrupt companies that I am a good employee who may be overlooked/ overworked. But to Amazon, I was just underproducing. Which was also false, because they make enough money they dont need to be so greedy to get more by working employees to the threshold of what slaves can do. So now I see clearly the big picture. Managers are hired externally doesnt know about our jobs and can only assess numbers, not reality, so when were expressing our concerns and brilliant ideas, they give a blank stare for two obvious reasons: the main one is they dont understand the parameters of the jobs so they cannot effectivity assess the benefits our brilliant ideas to increase productivity and prevent the loss of other great employees, secondarily it gives off the vibe of they dont care about our problems because they only know what they were brainwashed to believe in "manager school" which is what I call their meetings. Dont expect to work there beyond 6 weeks if you start in pick, even if youre a good worker. I only got this job because of the challenge of trying to stay hired as long as I can, I joined the pick team ON purpose, knowing I probably wouldnt be there long, from what I heard from all the employees. Amazon wont increase break times because they care more about money than the customers slaves. Hey Amazon, put the customer first by taking good care of their slaves!!! Thanks peace out. Ill never work there again, even as a marketing coordinator. BNA3 only has 8 more years, tops then they close down until all the leadership in the company submits to God Almighty. Amen.

Made some great friends while working here, but management was totally backwards on everything. Favoritism was huge and while I was pregnant, I was made to work on the 2nd floor of the warehouse where there were no bathrooms AFTER I had told them that I was puking up everything I ingest every 5 to 10 minutes. It was my boyfriend who nearly tore the managers a new one when he found out about it and made them move me to a floor where there was a bathroom accessible for me in case of an accident. They acted like they cared about you and the next minute they talked crap about you and wrote you up for something stupid. Im so glad I left when I did because it only got worse from what my other co-workers/friends told me. Do not work for this company. Better yet, dont buy from this company either because guess what, a lot of these poor workers dont even get to see there family on Christmas!! Had to experience that this past year while carrying my unborn son and nearly fell into a deep depression because of it. Its awful.... Just dont do it.

Our load was supposed to be pre loaded and ready to go at 3am. As usual it wasnt ready so we took a nap. The guy came out and was so rude because as soon as the light turned green we didnt hook up. Usually they come out and knock on the door. We have numerous lives at stake so we got some sleep before our journey and he didnt like it. I guess his trinkets in the boxes were more important than us making sure we got enough rest and didnt kill anybody on the road. I guess it was our fault that the load was an hour and a half late being loaded. He really needs to work on his ppl skills. Nothing better to do at 430 am than to be rude to truckers...smdh. Told us we had 9 minutes to be off the property. Then turned right around and told us to get off the property. Dont bother me unless my 29 minutes has expired!!! You arent doing me any favors...not my fault ur job sucks and u dont get paid as much as I do. If u dont like ur job choose a different profession. But being rude to the truckers hauling ur freight...thats just ignorant!!!

The absolutely worst facility to work for. As any other job when you first start they always make you feel welcomed, but after a couple of weeks you start to see how the show is really run. Too much favoritism is going on, its like you have to kiss butt and get in with certain people for special privileges. I worked as a picker and we get treated and penalized for the most craziest stuff ever when we work the hardest. Getting in trouble for tot for 5 minutes or less is ridiculous. Who gives coworkers who work 10 hrs on their feet all night 15 minutes breaks well really 10 because you need time to get back to your item to scan. I think the breaks are ridiculous and unfair most of the PAs dont take their jobs serious. Dont get me wrong Its a great company but if you want to work for this facility I advise you to work only during peak. The only good thing working for Amazon is that the pay is good and I loved the extra paid, unpaid, and vacation hrs they give u!! And that Ive met wonderful ppl working there.

They wont publish the actual phone number. Only the centralized customer service number. I have an appointment time to pick up a load, and I respect the time sensitive nature of their freight. I need to know the local time zone. Thats all. Ive checked google already, but google has given me a wrong time zone before and I just want to verify it with someone who lives/works there. The kid on the phone in Mumbai India was no help at all. Googled it for me even after I told him I already had. Just give us the freaking phone number! Is that so much to ask?
