I had to wait a month after scheduling a appointment to get a spot becomes of insurance, thats understandable theres a lot of people trying to get an appt. when I went in the front lady I talked to was very nice. After her all interactions were downhill. The lady who did the evaluation was rude, and talked down to me because I hadnt had an appointment with them in a year or two. She then strongly encouraged additional items which insurance would not pay for, when I declined she continued to insist. Appt. with the doctor was great as always. I was told I needed glasses and I told the lady helping me what I was looking for. She kept bringing items which I stated I didnt like. When I went to look at other frames I found the ones I was looking for she told me did didnt think they would look good so she didnt bring them to me. I wasnt sure if I could keep a appt to get my glasses so I told them to call me when they were in. A lady called and told me they were ready and wanted to set up a time. I was working all week and said I wouldnt know until later. She then hastily told me I cant just come In when I want and I Have to have an appt. Or I couldnt come get them. I tried to respond saying I would call back the next day but she had already hung up on me. I have had better treatment at Walmar

Family Vision Care has been providing excellent service for both me and my family for over 10 years. They have established a very professional and accommodating set up in the new location and it is always a pleasure visiting for my annual checkup. The Wink Gallery offers a wide variety of the latest styles. I travel from the Indianapolis area to maintain my relationship with Family Vision because they have everything to offer that I may be able to find in the city, but with great customer service that feels like home. I highly recommend this business!

we showed a few minutes late and wouldnt meet us- which is fine. They said our insurance didnt work and we would have to pay $160- they didnt call the insurance however. When we asked to use the phone to call the insurance, they wouldnt let us use the phone. We called the insurance, they said an exam is covered, they just need to call. They were rude and tried to charge us for something our insurance covers and wouldnt take the time to call our insurance. There are plenty of other places we can go.

Dr. Karon Klem Nowakowski has a terrific "chairside manner!" She explains testing results and eyeglass or contact prescription changes in clear language. Since she has been the eye doctor for four family members ranging in age between 87 and 16, I know she uses age-specific approaches and she is very polite and considerate of her patients time. She treats each patient as a unique individual and is a caring, "eye expert" to boot! The office staff and assistants are all friendly and efficient.

I have relied on Family Vision Care for over 20 years. I have progressed through bifocals to trifocals, through all the advances in lens types and features. The state-of-the art equipment and care is extremely important to me. As a professor of music education, I rely on my eyes to be as well-tuned as my ears. At my most recent visit I was once again impressed with the professionalism and response to my unique needs. I am always confident that I am getting the highest quality care.

This business is very sneaky with its fees. If you call and ask for pricing, they will tell you one thing and when you go to checkout after your exam, you find that the quotes were lies. I was quoted $20 for a service and ended up paying $110 for it. One worker in particular, who had nothing to do with my care, decided that she should enter the picture and judge me for disputing the pricing discrepancies. I have never had such a bad experience at an eye doctors office before.

Great Staff. Doctor explained things in a way that made me understand clearly. I was never told before by any other doctor that my eyes were so opposite of each other. Plus, my last place reversed the lenses. I had headaches for two years and didnt know why. No other Eye Doctor has ever made it that easy. Glasses came in fast. They were right the first time. The fitting was fast and easy. I wish I would have known about this place a long time ago. Highly recommend

DR Wilson and his staff are the best! They have served me and my family for many years and if not for DR Wilson my daughter would not see as well as she does today! She actually lives in Monticello IN and will NOT go to anyone else! (even though she is a Boilermaker and he is a Hoosier) LOL! Very professional, friendly, on time, and organized. They never make you feel like they are rushed or that you arent important to them. Thank you all for excellent service.

Very POOR service Provided! We saw Dr. Wilson on January 18 2017 for a contact lens exam and paid approximately $150.00 for this service and as of March 23rd have still not received any type of lenses or a prescription. After contacting management and asking for a refund so we could take our business elsewhere for services . Nicole who was very argumentative declined to do so. I have turned them into the BBB and will not return for future services .

Ive been with Family Vision Care since Ive moved to Muncie (about 3.5 years) and Ive been extremely pleased with the care Ive received. My doctor is Dr. Wynde Ashman--shes efficient and thorough with her explanations of how things are going with my eyes and with her recommendations regarding changes in my prescription. The equipment is up-to-date, the staff is friendly and professional, and the facility is welcoming.

Dr. Jeremy Gard is my eye dr. and I have never received the care and the examination as well as I have at Family Vision! He explained in detail what he was doing and I got to see what he was talking about when explaining about my eyes on the monitor!! Best eye exam ever and everyone was so nice! I didnt have to wait long at all to get in!! I highly recommend Family Vision and Dr. Jeremy Gard!!

Really horrendous prices!!! Only have really expensive frames, nothing for someone who wants middle of the road. They talked my husband into buying ridiculously expensive lenses. And to top it all off--they called him later in the day and said they were charging him $10 more because they forgot to add a charge to his bill! Very upset with this place. Will be canceling my appointment.

Dr. Greenlee and the rest of the staff were all very helpful. As a first time patient, they explained everything to me. I was able to see what my new prescription would be, which I dont remember being able to do at my other eye doctors office back home. I felt like the staff at Family Vision Care genuinely cared about me. I was quite impressed.
