A few months ago I spent $425 here on two pair of glasses ($650 before insurance)...one regular with progressives and one set of sunglasses with progressives. All went fine. Tonight, I stopped there to get a small adjustment in the sunglasses and I needed a screw tightened that was coming out on the regular pair. They only had one optician there and said it would be 20-30 minutes. Given that I work in Norwood and live in Worcester and it is not convenient to get there (7pm at night), I really didnt want to wait. I told the customer service person to not worry about the sunglasses, as they werent that bad, but if I could just get the screw tightened so it wouldnt fall out. She said she couldnt do that. The optician would have to. I said I didnt want to wait 30 minutes for 1 turn of a screw. If she would get me the screwdriver, I would do it. She rummaged around and couldnt find one. She goes to the optician who obviously told her no. So after going out of my way to get there, I couldnt even get a screw turned so that I wouldnt have my Marc Jacobs glasses fall apart! Needless to say, I left in a hurry. I am going to buy a kit for myself, live with the loose sunglasses and call the owner in the morning. Nice service. Dont use them. They are horrible.

From the first interaction I had over the phone with Donna, I was extremely pleased. She was friendly and knew the information I was looking for - the price of an exam and contact prescription and knew my insurance. The prices were very reasonable. When I went in for my appointment, first one of the day actually, she was there, still friendly and helpful. I have only had glasses for a year and now wanted contact lenses. Her and the other woman were quick and efficient getting me pretested and ready for the doctor. I could hear them helping with a young boy, maybe about 4, being patient and kind. The doctor, Dr. Dugger, was wonderful. Quick and knowledgeable, he was very patient while I struggled to put in contact lenses for the first time. I had a lot of questions about having and using contacts, he answered every thing to my satisfaction. I was overall pleased with my visit and all interactions. I highly recommend this office!
