I dont usually write bad reviews, honestly. I understand that things happen and usually it isnt the fault of the sales employee that is helping you. My tolerance is pretty high, but buying appliances here has been a nightmare. First off we went the last day of the Black Friday sale which was November 30. Our fridge suddenly broke and we desperately needed a new one. Instead of just getting a fridge we got a whole new appliance set. We shopped around and found what we liked at home depot! The sales people were nice and the manager was helpful. As soon as we double checked everything and made sure it was exactly what we wanted we sat down with a sales person and tried to put our order in the computer. Here is where it all started to go down hill. The computer was slow initially because a lot of people were making last day purchases, totally understandable. After about 2 hours, and other couples getting their orders through quickly at the computer behind us, we started to get a little annoyed. The sales person offered nothing but an Im sorry, which I get, shes pretty low on the totem. Finally the manager came back and offered us free installment, awesome started feeling much better. So then we went to pay, card declined, called bank made sure everything was in order and it was. Went to another check out station same thing. The entire credit card system went down. OH THE IRONY!! Alright still no ones fault there, went to ask the manager if the price would be honored the next day originally got an "I dont know".... I get it he cant make all the decisions, but imagine the frustration. So after a few phone calls we were told it would be honored, awesome, crisis averted. Two weeks later we are still without appliances but its arrival day!!!! so weve made due until now. But low and behold today they shipping company doesnt even call us to tell us that two trucks have broken down and they cannot deliver our appliances because their other trucks arent coming to this side of town. Now here things get interesting, the delivery company is separate from home depot, in other words not home depots problem. Now we will not get our appliances for another 5 days. Ive spent around 2000 in this store and to me thats a decent amount of money. Ive waited patiently and was pretty chill about the computer problems, stuff happens. But now this is getting ridiculous. If you cant even call the company from which you bought the appliances to handle a situation with the people they hire to ship then who can you call? Its like no one wants to take responsibility for a problem with there own business and we keep getting handed off to the next person. Where I work down to the smallest position is taught that the customer is #1. If you cant fix the problem yourself then you find someone who can. Granted I work in a hotel, but we help people with problems that we didnt even cause. I understand that problems arise, but if you arent even willing to take ownership and make it right then thats just awful customer service. I hope I never need new appliances again.

Had some trouble finding the part I needed. The worker I asked for help firstly was to busy to walk down the aisle but was not so busy that he couldnt stand at the end of the aisle and shout locations where the tool might be. Each time his guess was wrong he would become more and more aggressive as if I had hid the part and was all part of an elaborate ruse to make his day even worse. I eventually found it no where near where this worker thought it was. If youre looking for a tools or parts I suggest you go to a different store or location. I am most definitely not shopping at this location again.

So I came to the store just to get some storage racks. I chased down 3 sales associates and the lady who works in storage told me she was on the phone and couldnt help me. She then got off the phone to help someone else. As she saw us she looked and went to the next.. Finally we found someone to help, he engaged in a 25 minute convo. We waited from 6:30 til now which is 7:30 and have YET gotten our racks.. I WILL be calling corporate. To many workers here to wait a whole hour for service.

David at the contractors desk is the man in needs a raise along with Diane at the contractors check out. Vickie the greeter needs a raise and joe needs to get paid too, he has bills too and he always brings me joy. The rest of the crew can be 50/50. Dont try to take your time at closing because the heard everyone out like cattle if you really need something or not.

I have shopped here a few times for various projects. The store is pretty well kept and stocked. The staff is friendly but I also get the vibe that they are forced to go above and beyond by management. Sometimes its quicker for me if someone can point me in the correct direction rather than being required to take me directly to the product.

Comparable to Lowes. Wider selection in HVAC & central humidifiers. Carries items that Lowes doesnt. Less variety in sink basins & faucets compared to Lowes. Millwork is less expensive. Staff not very knowledgeable about inventory. Good shopping if you know what you want & are either familiar with the store or use the cellphone store app.

After waiting forever to get some service their advice was go to Economy Plumbing on North Capitol Avenue. So I went to North Capitol Avenue and the idiots down there said and I quote I dont know what to tell you exclamation point If you want service I wouldnt go to this Home Depot
