Rented a post hole digger took it back and was accused of not paying for it now tell me how you take it out of the store without paying for it and they help you take it out knowing it was not paid for so never rent any thing from ace hardware and then you have to double pay for the equipment

Overall a pretty good store and about the only place around to get decent hardware and materials. The older lady at the front checkout though they need to send her to charm school so she doesnt act like a dumpy old person with no smile and looks like shes always ticked off at the world.

The paint department at Ace of Salem is second to none. The ladies are extremely friendly, professional and most of all knowledgeable! They have such a great selection of paint, stains and spray paint. What I like most is how neat, clean and organized the department ALWAYS is.
