This place is AWFUL!! I was looking for bunk beds for my daughters (2014). I went there, and found almost exactly what I was looking for bunk beds with some storage space underneath. My fiance and I had moved in together, but the house isnt very big. So we needed all of the storage and space we could get until we find a home big enough for all of us. I had searched around, and while Furniture for Lesss prices were not the cheapest...they were not the most expensive either. So I purchased the beds. A twin on top, a full on bottom and storage drawers underneath. I also paid their ridiculous fee for delivery and set up. Bunk beds are a huge pain to assemble so it was worth it in my opinion. The guys show up with the beds and set them up only to find out they didnt send the storage drawers. This ticked me off because it was the reason I bought the darn thing. I also paid extra to get them delivered the next day. But whatever. I contacted the store and waited for a call back. It never came, so I called again, and again, and again finally someone called me back more than a week later. They brought the drawers out offering me no discount on this $1,000 bed I bought or the delivery I paid originally. When the guys left my four year went into her room excited to play on her new big girl bed. After several minutes of silence (4 year old and silence are not a good combo) only to find her playing with a BOX CUTTER THEY HAD LEFT ON HER BED!!!! I immediately called and heard "sorry we will talk to them"...thats it? If I would have waited to check on my daughter just a few minutes later they would have had a major lawsuit on their hands and all I hear is I will talk to them???!!!! Oh yeah and the bed I bought for extra storage and space... The drawers are as crappy as the people I bought it from. They dont slide out they fall out and are junky. We store nothing in them. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! THE PEOPLE SEEM PLEASANT AND THEY WILL TALK YPU INTO EXTRAS AND UPGRADES AND YOU WILL END UP UNHAPPY AND EVEN WORSE POSSIBLY AN INJURED CHILD!!!!

HORRIBLE customer service! Went to the new Castleton location, the sale people were great but the GM was pushy and rude. After placing an order we were told it would be delivered to us between 2-3 days and the GM was supposed to call me personally to set up an exact date. Days went by and I never heard from him so I finally called and I found out the table was out of stock and wouldnt be ready to deliver for another 2 weeks. But since this was one of two items I ordered I asked for the couch that I ordered ASAP since that was the agreement. Well the manager wanted me to sign a contract when I didnt even have all the pieces of furniture on my order. I said I would sign the contract as soon as I received my table, since this store is 30 min away we agreed that the contract would come with the delivery people and I would sign it when they brought it to me. Well I rush home to meet the delivery guys and there was no contract, I called the store immediately and he told his assistant that I BETTER sign the contract before monday. So I told her to have him call me back. 8 hrs went by and he still didnt call me back, so i called again. I told him this was the 2nd time he didnt follow through and I had no problem signing the contract but since he didnt hold up his end of the bargain it was going to be on my time. He couldnt even admit that he was wrong, I planned on buying more furniture from them but now I will never go back or recommend them to anyone. And no one could give me the number to someone above him! Whats to hide if you KNOW your right?

Do yourself a favor and save up the extra $50 youll spend buying from a legitimate furniture store. I placed an order for a couch and paid in full, I was told 4-6 weeks for delivery since it was a special item. I received no contact for 4 weeks, so I called them myself. I was given the run-around and told the person who took my order would call me back by the end of the business day, he did not. I called twice more in the next two weeks to no avail. I was called at the six week mark and asked for more details regarding the couch, making me think that it hadn't even been ordered (yet they had no problem crediting my account), so I called the furniture distributor the next day, Hughes furniture, and was told an order was placed the day before. It has now been 12 weeks, the last 6 weeks I have called furniture for less at least once per week and I am handed off from person to person and then finally told I will be called back the next day. I have been in to try to get a refund but told only the person who sold me the furniture can cancel the order (which I think is bs even if it is true). I will call once more today to try to get my money back and then I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau. Update - after threatening legal action, I got a refund for 65% of what I paid. They offered me a $50 in-store credit to post a positive review on Google+. Yeah right!!!

After getting a terrible experience purchasing a couch through American Freight, I was a little skeptical about going to another furniture store that wasnt a big name chain. I saw a commercial and figured Id swing by to see what they had during a big sale they were running. Dustin Klinefelter approached me to see how he could assist me. I had a specific style in mind for what my wife and I wanted our dining room table set to be. There was nothing close to what we wanted on the floor, so Dustin began searching through their catalogs. He dug through several combinations of different table sets to mix and match the table and chairs that fit my requests. I have to admit, he did one hell of a job finding the right match for me. The price for everything was well below what I expected to pay and I am definitely planning to return to look at a bedroom furniture set soon. Thanks Dustin! Sale #: 11623

Give them a second chance if you experienced bad customer service, but give them that opportunity by contacting them. I would have originally given them a 1 star rating, but the positive response that I received from Nick and Jason (Operations Manager and Owner) and quick actions salvaged my overall experience with Furniture For Less. Mistakes were made on our order (it happens!) but the real issue was the overall experience in dealing with the apathetic sales team. They have been made aware of this situation and are addressing it. My complaint/story is similar to what other 1 star reviews list. If this happens to you, let them know! Jason and Nick will respond and will assist you. They are a family owned company and will take care of you.
