I would avoid patronizing this business unless you particularly enjoy spending your time meticulously perusing their constant billing errors. The entirety of my transaction with them was getting an eye exam, buying contacts, and returning to pick up the contacts they needed to order in. One would expect this to be a bread-and-butter transaction for an optical shop. First they forgot to bill my insurance, then they tried to bill me again before receiving the insurance money they billed late, finally they charged my account for contacts on the day I ordered them as well as the day I picked them up. Call in to speak with billing? Nope! You get sent to an answering machine. Speak with billing over email? Nope! You need to call back and talk with optical. 10 years of going to department store optometrists and Ive never had a billing problem. Id like to say that at least I got exceptional medical care since the facility is owned by ophthalmologists, but my optometrist seemed uninterested in discussing my allergic conjunctivitis complaint beyond the obvious of continuing not to use vasoconstrictive drops. I also later asked about an opaque proteinaceous deposit I kept getting on my contacts within 48 hours of using them and the sales people just gave me a sample hydrogen peroxide solution (which didnt work) without even consulting the optometrist - an unsafe practice imo.

I had an appointment on a Friday morning. I arrived 15 minutes early and was told I missed my appointment, 2 days earlier. I pulled my appointment card out of my wallet, and the Dr agreed to see me since her REAL appointment didnt show up. She rushed through the exam, treating me like I had the plague. I complained that I couldnt see very well using her corrections to my eyes with her machine. She told me that it was perfect. I am now saving my money so I can go see the Eye doctor at the WalMart in Franklin. That is the doctor that my mom went to and hes much more thorough than this lady at Abrams

The doctors are wonderful but the opticians need a seminar on customer service. The lady was so rude, she acted as though I wasnt a paying customer. When you spend your hard earned money at an establishment the least they can do is be respectful and appreciative. Customers are the reason theyre in business. Go for an eye exam but buy your glasses elsewhere.

Dr Rothbaum is excellent! I have a rare eye condition that I usually need to explain to eye specialist, but Dr Rothbaum new exactly what it was . All the staff were super nice too. Highly recommend this office.

Great experience with the doc and the optical service. Ive been coming here for years and wouldnt go anywhere else. (I did go elsewhere once and it was a disaster.) Tonya and Michelle are awesome!
