i called the target optical at the carmel-west location this morning. i have no eye insurance so was seeing how much just lenses were for a pair of frames i already have. the girl was nice let me know they start around $60 and i could come in and have them look and give me a price there. i asked if an appointment was needed and she said no. i then drove my 30 min drive to target just for this reason. i walk in, kind of busy.. a girl (( olderish gray short hair with glasses )) looks at me and asked quickly if i needed help.. she seemed rushed, i said i did have a question about the lenses, explained my situation to her.. she again seemed rushed saying depends on me prescription .. i pulled out my prescription she the rushed behind the desk to check the price and told me how much it would be .. then shockingly .. i was dismissed. the phone started ringing and she proceeded to pick it up literally as im staring at her about to begin to ask another question. i laughed and walked out. that lady just lost a frequent target shopper and business at the target optical center. so rude and i am so upset. i was hoping to give target my business and allow them to help me but she literally could have cared less. thanks.

Dr. Hall, is wonderful. She went above and beyond to help me when I was having an eye emergency. She did a fitting for contacts and glasses and I was very happy with her recommendations. Can not recommend her more. Now, Target...we need to have a serious conversation about the lady with grey hair that sits at the front desk (the same person mentioned in the review below me). I cant for the life of me figure out why there is a need to be so snippy and rude and dismissive at an eye doctors office.... but here I am, writing this review. To be honest, the majority of the people working at the front were extremely unprofessional and rude. Long story short - Dr. Hall was amazing and I will be braving the front desk people to see her regularly.

I just ordered new contacts and can see great with my trials of multi-focal lens for presbyopia. It can be kind of tricky to get lens that work for distance, computer work, reading and driving at night but after a couple tries I now have succeeded with the help of Dr. Kim Hall. It was worth the drive for me.

For my first par of glasses I was very pleased with the help I got from the lady there. The reason for one less star, is when I saw the other people waiting at times when they could of been helped. Nothing was wrong with my experience so I will definitely be back.
