I went out looking for a small sporty car and immediately liked the Focus ST. Frank did a good job getting me the car that I wanted and did well to get us down to the price that I was willing to spend with the various discounts. However, when it came time to speak with Finance about the terms, nothing, that was promised to us (20 min earlier by Frank) was upheld by Greg. He was rude and insensitive to what I was asking for. He never once said that what I was asking for couldn’t be done, but merely blew us off and continued to tell me that a 4% interest rate on this car was fair, even for someone like my dad (who was co-signing) who has an A+ credit score and 40 years of credit history. He made no effort to work with us to get the deal done and was quite combative from the beginning. Insulted, we left. Not only was the price of $33,500 (10% more than the promised $30,000, after taxes) outrageous, the interest rate was a joke, and the attitude of the finance guy was embarrassing for Bill Estes. Even worse than that is the fact that they tried to persuade me that a $630/month payment for this car was acceptable, when anyone with basic math skills can tell you that a $30,000 car (with 0 or .9% interest) should be around $500/month for 60 months. That is a difference of over $100/month that they rudely tried to coerce me into. It was insulting and embarrassing that they’d treat a customer like this. I understand trying to talk a young adult into signing a stupid lease, but the disrespect they showed my father (an engineer) who has purchased many cars in his day, is astounding. Apparently the commercial for Bill Estes Chevy about “earning their customer’s business and trust” did not make its way over to this Ford Dealership in Brownsburg. I am sorry for Frank that Greg was so rude because he was a genuinely good salesman who did a fine job. It just so happens that this week (a few days after visiting Bill Estes) I bought the exact same car from Pearson Ford in Zionsville. I got the price confirmed ONLINE, even before meeting in person. When I went to sign the papers, the price that Katrina promised me was exactly what I received from the financing manager, who was also quite friendly and pleasant to work with. I ended up getting it for $28,400 (with all-purpose tires Included that Bill Estes was charging $860 for) as well as receiving 0% financing for 60 months, which Estes said "wasnt an option from Ford". The resounding lack of professionalism that occurred at Bill Estes was shocking. Their quotes were mostly all written by hand on scratch paper, eliminating any details of how they got to that number. The tactic is used to lure people, who won’t second guess them, into signing more expensive terms than needed. When I got to Pearson, Katrina had the entire sheet printed out for me, which described, in detail, all of my options and how those numbers were calculated. Complete transparency was quite refreshing after dealing with Greg from Bill Estes’ who tried to bully me into a more expensive price for the same car. If you’re looking for someone to get you a good deal on a great car that won’t go back on their financial promises, then Pearson Ford in Zionsville is your way to go, ask for Katrina! My family has had great experiences with other sales people at that location in the past as well. They put in great effort to ensure that you’ll be happy with the car AND the price you’re purchasing it at. Its Bill Estes prerogative to only post the postive reviews to make them look good, but my review to their website was responded to with a short private messaging saying "thank you for your feedback." They clearly are not too keen on customer service, correcting wrongs, or admitting when they did a poor job.

This location is horrible. My son spoke to sales on 5/23/16 about a specific car, told them what he was looking for, as well as what he had to trade in, along with the amount he had to spend. The sales person stated "yeah come on in we have a great deal on, more money for your trade going on right now and we defiantly can help you". I think they meant to say take advantage of you because you are young, well I did not raise and idiot. When he got off work at 7:30 this morning, after 16 hours of work, he drove the hour home to pick up the other trade in, as his wife took the other one down, with their 8 month old baby by the way. Her car over heated 3 times on the way there. The vehicle he was driving will not make it back now from their friends house down there. Hence the conversation that he had with the sales person and why they were looking for a car and he called to insure that they would take them and would be able to help them. You know honesty, something this location and personnel lack. Guess what, this is your typical run of the mill car dealer and sales support, they see $$$. The car he had just spoken to "just sold at auction" he was told when he got there. So, they had his phone number, but I guess they lack the since of courtesy, and could not call and let him know. At this point, the normal conversation ensued, my son "what do you have in the price range that I am looking for"? Sales "oh we have this car, it a great car". Keep in mind that the sales person knows what they have and what they are looking for. He was interested in the other vehicle, test drove it, and he came back to discuss the specifics of the, what they call, "deal" and it was by no means anywhere close to what he told the sales person, imagine that. What is the matter with these sales persons, they do not listen. They all are blinded and go deaf when they see what the thought was $$$$. I have called three places trying to get this locations corporate office phone number and guess what it ended back with their number. Well if this is in fact the corporate office, and they treat their potential customers like this, I DEFINATELY DO NOT REMEND ANY OF THEIR LOCATIONS!!!!!! They did not just miss out on the sale of a vehicle to my son, but my daughter just started driving and she needs a car. I am in the market as well as I have had mine for 7 years. So please take my warning and FIND ANOTHER DEALER.

I am updating my review because I would like to thank Jerry Williams who is the Service Manager there at Bill Estes Ford. I had a hick-up and a rough time communicating with the service department and it was taking too long for a solution to get my car fixed in a timely manner. The reason why this review is getting updated is because I left a pretty nasty/upset review about how everything was being taken care of. I would like to first hand again, thank you Jerry Williams. Jerry was able to kind of "take control" on the situation with my car. Came out and actually picked my car up from work and left me with a car for me to drive until my car was fixed and ready to go (at no charge). Jerry and I both work in a costumer service fields; me in the medical field and him in the automotive field. Price isnt want makes someone not come back, its costumer service... and thats what Jerry has done for me to handle the situation, as well as find out what was wrong with my car and had it all taken care of, I want to thank you again. And I "WILL" be back to Bill Estes Ford. I originally drove a 2007 Chevy Equinox, which I bought from Bill Estes Chevy. I loved the service I was given there and after my Equinox saved my life (I flew off a 35 foot embankment. I was too scared to get back into an Equinox, so I bought of 2012 Ford Escape)... Still from Bill Estes, I wanted to continue with that same service, so I travel from North Carmel to Brownsburg, Indiana to receive the same service I was given at Bill Estes Chevy. Thank you again Jerry, with what you have done for me really has helped me feel a lot better than what I did a few days ago.
