I only went to this dealer to get a discontinued Scion, and probably would not have come here otherwise. I wish these were out of 6, that way I could do a neutral review. As always, do your research. I went the day before and got pre-approved by my bank for a low APR, knew my loan term, financing charges, etc. Good thing I did. They might try to push you to finance through them with a "lower" interest rate than you might find at your local bank or credit union. Every place does that though, although I wonder if my young age/appearance was a cause for some of that extra push from the financing department. The salesman was kind enough, and gave me time to discuss the purchase with relatives and my spouse any time I asked. I suppose the sale was easy enough for him though, considering this was the only vehicle I had eyes for, for years. We took it for a test drive and he told us we could drive anywhere that would make us feel comfortable with the car, although we only felt the need to drive in the predetermined route. At one point, I pointed out every flaw I noticed on the vehicle and he looked into them and checked if it was a simple fix he could knock out for me. I also asked if it was possible to have the car taken back to detail and see if some small scratches on the bumper could be buffed out, as well as pointed out a ding on the quarter and asked what happened there. He said he would be happy to get it back there for me, but he made no guarantees it would come out. Completely understood. I worked body for a while in high school. We went and picked up the check, grabbed lunch, and got ready to head back out. Salesman called, asked us how we were doing, to which I responded we would be heading out that way soon and gave him a heads up for the 20-30 min commute, plus time for us to get ready. Done deal. We were in a hurry to get there and get back in time for my spouse to go to work. Most of my issues lie in this final interaction. So, here we go: - The car was still sitting in the same spot as when we had left. Had not been to detail, to my knowledge.. - Right before we left the dealership is when the stickers and such were removed from the car. Salesman let me know he was having trouble getting it off. He asked if I still wanted him to try. I said no, Ill take care of it (so thats on me), knowing my spouse needed to be at work and I would have to follow her back. My problem is: why wasnt this done when I said I was on my way? -Gas was around half-full. Back in my hometown, they have a practice of filling up the tank as thanks for making the purchase. Maybe thats just their practice, but I think it should executed everywhere. Its the least you can do after I just paid over 20% down. -Also, the window sticker stated it had a manufacturers warranty. For some reason, financing told me it didnt have one. False advertising on that one. I wasnt going to pay an additional 2-3k for one. There was also another sticker in the window about an interior warranty that wasnt explained to me. -Got a cheesy little email thanking me for the purchase, and it said "I just recorded this for you." Pretty generic. Clearly hadnt been just recorded. I giggled. Overall, the experience seemed pretty average. I only went there for a specific vehicle and had no need to come back. The staff seemed nice enough. My spouse felt the same, and that it didnt leave us with any lasting impressions, besides the little things we noted along the way.

No wonder why this dealership has a poor rating. Anyone that knows me would say the LAST thing I am is vague. I am direct, and to the point. We love the highlander. My husband in is a service supervisor position at another Indy dealership that does not have any Toyota dealerships close. I put in an online quote on my trade. Not only did some want a response from me at 10:30 PM, someone also emailed me the next morning. He was a 21 year old flake named Justin. I told him verbatum "This is what I owe, this is the type of payment I am wanting...Please let me know if this is in the REALM of possibility and I may consider dropping by" He says...yes. Two more auto texts, and another sales manager call (name I cannot remember) states that YES, this is in the realm...we can adjust your trade in and with the $500 rebate should be no problem. Cut to...another auto text and an email from Samantha Crowe, boasting 0% interest. I call her...and she again confirms that I will be in the realm of possibility. She even sends me a follow up text to confirm I will be at the dealership today to confirm that she will be working with me. Cut to....getting to the dealership. I am bombarded by three salesmen...super overwhelming. Take me to Sam, who flips me to curly headed pre-pubescent sales guy named Aaron who seemed just as uncomfortable as I am. I tell him EXACTLY what I expect. Leaves me sitting for 20 minutes while they appraise my 2013 Cadillac. (We all know it does NOT take this long, all the while when I get back in my car all the electronic gauges were changed to other screens and not put back etc) Asks me if I want to test drive. I say NO. Just get to the business. Comes back to tell me that they can get me 30% less than anticipated (what a joke) and my payments are going to be nowhere near what I had asked for. (Again, I clearly stated to the other people WHAT I had expectations of.) I asked to speak to the GM. I was clearly agitated that these troglodytes had wasted my time. He did not know the GMs name as he "had just started a day ago" My response was...."Do you not know you bosses name??" I left...obviously frustrated. I called Samantha Crowe and shamed her. I asked to be transferred to the GM. I was put on hold. Then am transferred to the Internet Sales Manager...who did not know if the GM was available" He asked where the breakdown occured. Um HELLO. 4 different people mislead me. I am aware that payment call is based on credit score, trade in value, etc. But is an honest "we can see that happening" too much to ask? Obviously at this dealership. When the dealership responds with some bullshit "We are sorry blah blah blah we are going to use these events better in the future...blah blah" Suck me, beautiful. You know what you can do? Sell me a car at your cost....at 0% interest. That is what you can do. No reserve on the interest. No inflated doc fees. And you can build in that little hefty profit on your GAP and warranty to offset the cost of my trade. That...Andy Mohr is what you can do for me. Until then, dont respond to this review.

Excellent, the commitment that the dealership showed me was unparalleled. Now that I think about it, Excellent is not a strong enough description of the experience I had at Andy Mohr Toyota. I could go into each part of my buying experience" and describe their great efforts and honest business practices that they displayed at every stage, but that would be redundant at best and boring to most. What I really want to elaborate on is our salesman, RUSS SEALS. Mr Russ Seals is everything you dont expect from a car salesman, he is upfront, honest (very honest, almost to fault), he tells you the entire answer, not these 1/2 truths that everyone today doesnt seem to think is lying. Well, Im here to tell you, telling only a part of the answer, holding aspects of the truth / answer back, regardless of the intent = Lying. Russ Seals is a "throwback", he isnt just old school, he belongs in the Old Testament (eye for an eye type of thing). But thats not to insinuate he is behind the times or too tough, quite the opposite, he is a technology wiz (showed us the entire touch screen / navi component from top to bottom, inside and out, he knew it and everything about our new Land Cruiser like he developed / designed and built it himself), we were amazed at the time he spent and the information he gave us at delivery. He isnt one of those salesman who just throws you the keys and yells, " thank ya, she sure is a pretty one", not by a longshot. Russ is as professional as any salesperson I have ever encountered, his product knowledge is second to none, and his approach was perfect. He is not a pressure guy at all. but we noticed by the end of the purchase, on the day we negotiated the deal, by the time we were finalizing the details, we were the party applying pressure to ourselves. Russ had done such an incredible job with us, we felt like if we had not bought from him, we were just bad people. You dont have someone take the time and treat you a certain way and not buy their product. With Russ Seals, he is so honest, approachable, funny, likeable, knowledgeable, tactful (my wife is beautiful, extremely attractive; we have often run into salesman who cant keep it together long enough to complete their task before they go out of bounds in regards to my wife), energetic, positive attitude and graceful. Russ is a born salesman, no one can handle themselves with such grace and not be a natural, Ive been around sales and various business situations over the years, and Russ Seals is the best Ive ever encountered, bar none. He raised the bar so much, so high, that the gap between Russ and the next best, is the equivelant of the Grand Canyon. I didnt know such people / sales people existed, I will close before I end up writing a novel, I have a tendancy to If anyone is heading
