After purchasing batteries online with my boss’s credit card I found out that she had to be the one to pick them up. They wouldnt even credit her card for the core charge that wasnt suppose to appear on the card! They wouldn’t even give it to me in cash! My boss doesnt live anywhere near the store, it would be impossible for her to pick up the batteries in a timely manner. As these batteries were used for an emergency lighting system it was imperative we get these batteries ASAP! After speaking to several different Battery Plus employee’s we convinced them to let me pick the batteries up. Once there I found they didn’t have the brand I ordered and there was an up-charge! After complaining they decided to wave the additional cost however, they still have the $27 core charge, and yes they have the old batteries! If they had explained this to me prior to making the purchase I could have made other arrangements. This exchange was not handled very professionally at all! Unfortunately for Battery Plus I have several more large battery purchases to make and you can bet it won’t be with them! P.S. I dont blame the store or its employees, this was company policy. The employees did what they could to make the exchange as forgivable as possible.

Follow up on my iPone 6 issue- been chasing this business firb9 months for restitution. I sent multiple letters (including certified) and request for replacement - no response, so I have had to file small claims court in this business - will keep people aprised of the results of my lawsuit. Also- their corporate ownership in Wisconsin is a lousy franchiser who doesnt care about their brand or service standards- they fail at customer service. Buyer beware of their fraudulent repair claims. THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR PHONE and will not make restitution without legal action. My photos of their damage to my phone has 1000+ views by potential consumers - so take my advice and your business dollars elsewhere - they will screw you if they fail. Notice the cowardly business owner picks and chooses who to respond to on google reviews - he knows hes I the wrong but doesnt care. Hes got my number but is afraid to call me and make good on this matter . See you in court.

My wife and I met the owner (at least I assume it was the owner) at the Orland Park Chamber of Commerce Expo about a year ago. He noticed that my wifes iPhone 6S had a crack in the screen and offered her a good discount/coupon to get the screen replaced. I asked about whether that repair would void the warranty and he said, "No, we use Apple parts." So, for convenience as my wife works very close to this location, she dropped the phone off and had it repaired. Well, we just found out today, that it did void the warranty and were being charged the full $299 replacement cost because of the 3rd-party screen. Beware of this location and misrepresentation.

I went to get a battery replacement my iphone 5 and I informed the sefvice representative that all I wanted was just the battery placed and nothing else. He said he had to replace the volume button and the startup button also, that if I did not have those replaced along with the battery he would not do any thing to the phone. I explained to him that I did not need the volume or start buttons, since I had no need to adjust my volume settings anyway and since I had no problem turninh yhe phone on and off previously. He then lay the phone down on the counter and proseded to service the nezt customer.

Manager Steve did not call when a message was left for him the previous day to call me back the next morning. His reason -"They hadnt performed the tests yet" (on a battery that was dropped off at noon the previous day) The correct response of a manger would have been to call me back the next morning, let me know that the tests were not performed and let me know the status of when it will be completed-dont just ignore the message. No excuse for this poor service by a manger! The workers are very helpful.

I had my battery replaced there for my 2010 BMW 528 xi. Lost all the settings and my idrive (main display) isnt working anymore! I thought it was because the battery wasnt registered on the car (Some BMW technology). But even after that, idrive isnt coming back up. Advice: They could have told me that they dont feel comfortable changing battery on my car. The guy was nice, he managed to do it even with all customers pouring into the store.

I use my phone A LOT for work purposes so when the battery started dying half way through the day I started searching for a solution. A quick Google search brought up Batteries Plus. I called the store for pricing and availability and was able to get my phone fixed on my lunch break. It was quick and easy! The staff was very knowledgeable and couldnt have been any nicer. Ill definitely be back for any future battery needs.

I ordered replacement battery for cell phone online, had about a 15 minutes wait in line, battery ready and service rep installed in phone; it was the right battery, but unfortunately did not solve my cell phone problems. I received a prompt refunds, returned to cell phone carrier, and new phone on order. I wouldnt hesitate to utilize Batteries and Bulbs again for other needs.
