I bought a cheap table at a reasonable price since I only need it for my room to use for studying. The sales people were nice, and the cashier where I had the transaction informed me that they cannot bring the table in my car, they will only carry it outside at the backdoor and the rest I have to do it myself then I said thats okay. So I drove at the backdoor, saw men unloading furnitures from the truck and I got off the car. I found my table and the guy who just brought it there. Only when I realized that the table is too heavy for me to lift and I cannot do it on my own, the fact that I am petite young lady. So I asked somebody for help just to lift the table up with me, but this other big guy was saying sorry that he is not allowed to help. What? Poor lady no one would even want to help me, I didnt ask them to do it themselves, I was only asking to help me carrry it with me. The ending, I did it alone. I had no other choice but to suffer, but I survived. Salvation army help many homeless people, and feed them, but it is only limited to that. In asituation like this they cannot. Its ironical to think.

Its a thrift store, and its got grit; not sure why people expect to be walking in and out of a department store. Hell knows Im poor enough not to. If you cant handle a Sal Army, maybe you shouldnt be there. Its actual thrifting for people who actually NEED those prices; not whiny, entitled, overprivileged suburbanites who got tired of going to Goodwill. Sorry @Graxia, but your need to compare your mundane strife of lifting something thatll actually help you lose a pound off your bloated ego to the struggle of the homeless and at-risk is just gross. Next time you complain about being a "poor little lady" for buying something you can barely even carry into or out of your car (why didnt you get a pickup receipt for the next day if its such a melodramatic ordeal?) and NOT have someone immediately jump to your whims, remember that its just a taste of what being TRULY underprivileged is like.

Absolutely the worst customer service. They were so unaccommodating when I was trying to arrange a pick up of a donation. After them randomly assigning me a date without my permission, I finally corrected them settled on a date and was given a huge time gap of 8-4 for a pick up time. I was willing to sacrifice my Saturday to have this furniture picked up. It is now 7:53 pm and they still havent arrived. No phone call or email to give me aheads up about the status of my appointment. Sacrificing a potential 8 hours of my day is bad enough but now it is going on 12 hours. For a company that relies on donations, they arent very friendly to those who are trying to give them things for free. Its really unfortunate that they have made this donation process so horrible; I would love to give more items but I dont want to go through this again. Ok, long rant over!

I dropped off a car load of cloths, furniture, sporting goods on Saturday, 10/10/15. I asked the attendant where I should put it, he wasnt helpful and seemed upset that I was even there. After I unloaded everything from my car by myself I had to ask for a receipt when he shouted at me that theyre " right there ". Not a person a business should have working with donors or customers. Needless to say, I wont be back.

Love visiting, but dont always leave with a find. Oh well. Thats thrift shopping. Huge selection of mens and womens clothing, furniture & bedding (oddly enough). Books & home goods a bit of a dusty mess. Usually short line to check out

Good place for used clothes. It gets busy on the weekends and the staff has a difficult time maintaining the cleanliness of the isles.
