Very disappointed. I found a neat little piece and noticed the price was a bit high, so naturally thinking the store to be resale and I could ask the manager and get a better price,, well I quickly ran into a brick wall with that. I paid their premium, went home and thought I should look my piece up on the NET, well to my surprise Ebay had the same little neat piece for 1/3rd less. Having a smart phone you would think I shouldve used it before buying?,and your right. I wont be shopping here without price checking the item before purchase, gotta remember that old saying when shopping here for bargains "Buyer Beware"

Unusually friendly and kind staff. I used to be a frequent visitor to their other locations in town. This is a great spot too. Huge selection of furniture if thats your thing. Lots of clothes that are always in good shape. Always a nice selection of vinyl and CDs. Wish they had more electronics and toys, but thats just my thing... Wonderful place in a wonderful location. After you shop, visit the record store down the way, the cafe around the corner, then cross the highway for a visit to the conservatory, and then take the kids to the park. Sounds like an ideal time at the Oak Park arts district.

I have shopped Here for many years. I have up-graded many items in my home, thanks to the help of Gregory and many other staff members. They are more than helpful and kind My only regret is that I dont have more space for additional discoveries. I have donated as often as I can and encourage others to do the same, I go so far as to go to friends homes to collect donations and drop them off for them. This is a nice thrift shop. This is relatively smaller than the other brown elephant locations and the goods seem to be of lower quality. Still, it is a pretty nice resale shop.
