This review is for Viking machines inside of Joanns, as they dont seem to have a Google review page that I can find. Back alley thieves, should be investigated. Long story short, they are lying about selling used machines, and they get MAD when you question it. Bought one machine "open stock, but never once used" from a very unpleasant lady named Nancy Button. It was "on sale". Well, it was actually used and damaged. The needle was bent completely and jammed inside the machine. So, the next day we came back to give her a piece of our minds, but instead, there was another lady. Her name was also Nancy, but she was a whole new level of nasty. We didnt come in to fight with her, as she was not the lady who had lied to is the night before, but she did everything she could to treat us so extremely badly, like we were the thieves, that we ended up ten times more upset than when we had walked in. I had to explain to her that her behavior was completely unwarranted and unreasonable, and when she tried to sell us another used machine with no box or anything, she practically blew up like a balloon when I dared to ask the price. "I ALREADY SAID IT WAS $130!!" Curiously, we had visited Wal-Mart and found that used machine brand new for... $130! That was the "used" price at this place. Theyre selling used machines at new prices and biting the heads off of anyone who doesnt let themselves get ripped off. God bless the poor people, family or friends, in their lives that need to live with those awful attitudes and ethics. I feel bad for their co workers and anyone else those gargoyles might attack on a daily basis. Oh, and by the way... I got the same machine brand new at Wal-Mart for $99. Less than the used price.

On August 15th I had a wonderful experience shopping at Joann Fabrics in Orland Park. I had a long list of things I needed. I had some questions and approached two women I saw working, Lynn and Skyler. They went above and beyond to help me. Not only did they help me find all the things I needed, they even gave suggestions that made my experience with this undertaking much easier and fun. Thank you to all, especially Lynn and Skyler.

Recently, I went into the store to make a purchase, and I was absolutely amazed at the wonderful help that Thea gave to me! She went totally out of her way to ensure that I was satisfied as a customer, and how wonderful the world would be if every store had employees who were as caring and helpful as she was to me!

Incredibly rude check out lady. Nasty with the person ahead of me, nasty to the lady who asked her where the restroom was, nasty when I wanted to use a coupon. I believe her name was Shannon or Sharon. I told her to havr a nice and and she didnt even say anything back. RUDE RUDE RUDE.

Bought items to finish a wedding dress. Found beautiful lace at a great price. Every one who worked there was well informed. We were in and out in 30 to 40 minutes. Not bad we bought 12 different items.

Staff here is incredibly rude. My wife asked a simple question about the coupon mailer during check-out and she was treated like a complete idiot. Absolutely inexcusable. Avoid this one.

The staff here are really nice and helpful. If you give them your email address at checkout to sign up for coupons, you can get pretty good deals. Love their fabric sales.
