I agree with Patti. Petcos grooming center made the dogs claws sharp as razors and then categorically denied it. They called me a liar to my face and said there was no way that they could have done it. The claws were dull going in and sharp coming when I got home and he jumped up on me. They told me he wouldnt let him clip his front nails, so they filed them. The manager on duty at the time (Michael) is rude and world class condescending. I will drive out of my way to avoid this store or any Petco from now on. From now on, my shopping will be done at Petsmart. Word to Petco, from now on, take the customers word for something and try to correct your mistakes. I wasnt trying to scam them out of $10 for a free nail clipping. Better yet, dont let screwups like this occur by hiring competent people and training them well so that they dont let a mistake like this that was a potential lawsuit out of your store. No one got scratched badly, but it couldve happened. Even if they didnt want to admit fault for legal reasons, they couldve tried to fix the error and not dismissed me as a liar. If I were corporate, Id fire someone for that. And next time someone gives you a second chance to fix your mistake after youve insulted them, be smart and admit fault or at least try to fix what is wrong with the pet. Giving the customer the benefit of the doubt and doing the right thing wouldve kept me from telling this story to millions of people.

While these groomers were not terrible, they definitely werent great. The people are friendly, but the grooming could use some work (at least for larger breed dogs). My dog came back with clipper marks all over his fur. The lady went on to tell me that his fur has many different shades, thats why it looked choppy. What? How does that make sense? My dogs fur looks choppy, feels choppy, but it isnt choppy because you say so? The price was reasonable, same I pay at his usual groomer (who unfortunately had no open appointments soon enough). But the time it took for them to groom my dog was ridiculous. I understand he is a big dog, but I have never waited FOUR HOURS for him to be groomed and I have had him shaved down before. Needless to say, I was not impressed with their work and will probably not be taking him back there. Im sure they are great with small, toy-breed dogs, as I saw how sweet and careful they were with them. But this is probably not the place for a big dog. My poor boy came home hungry, thirsty, and exhausted.

I have the worst experience at this Petco everything I go to this location. The most resent experience was today. I have been calling for 3 weeks to schedule an appointment with grooming but they never answer the phone. The two times that they did answer the phone they told me that they would call me back...they never did. The 2nd time...I called the store and the lady that answered the phone talk to me like I was some idiot that didnt understand what she was telling me.

I have never had one bad experience at Petco. All the store associates are very pleasant, knowledgeable, and very good at helping you find what youre looking for. The trainers are wonderful (My Sushi trains with Mike). Petcos return/exchange policy is also very generous. I brought my receipt and got a complete refund that went straight back to my card, although you will still get in-store credit without a receipt. I love Petco, I recommend it to all my pet parent friends!

I believe I have had the pleasure of interacting with the same associate everytime I have come here and he has always been so nice. I know I talked his ear off at least twice and he never made me feel like a bother! The store itself though does not impress me. Its kind of a dirty store, prices are meh, and I dont really like when stores sell animals.

After bringing our dog there for nearly a year, one visit we came to pick him up and was told our dog was to aggressive and to big to handle so we were asked not to bring him anymore? When we brought our dog in we feel the negative attitude from the groomer, she was not very friendly at all.

We have been taking our collie to Petco for grooming for the past several years. Kaitlyn does an amazing job with our dog who is blind and not at all a fan of being brushed. Marcy looks awesome every time we pick her up, and more importantly she is calm and happy.

Supplies for pretty much every pet, plus a decent selection of small critters and fish. We shop primarily for fish supplies and used to shop for dog food, treats and toys (no longer have the dog.) Always have whet we needed, but not always the best price.

STAY AWAY!! The employees do not care about their jobs let alone our pets. they hurt my puppy giving him a bath. When asked what happened could care less very rude..NEVER NEVER NEVER TRUST THEM TO BE ALONE WITH YOUR BELOVED PETS!!!.

I mean...Its convenient. But PetSmart is really killing them for most things. So Petco works in a pinch, but I do the my major shopping elsewhere. This is like a pet convenience store.

Took my dog to puppy time lday didnt let the dogs play together she seemed like she didnt know how dog play she would pull them apart she seemed nervous and caused lots of tension

Great pet store. Awesome variety of food. Our dogs are on a limited ingredient grain free diet and were able to get that here. They also have a great toy selection as well.

Too expensive, hard to find someone to help, most of the employees are trained with dogs and dont have much information about the rest of the animals they offer for sale
