I always have to take a full day off to have my car serviced because they always claim to be too busy Ive been here over 3 hours now. My car has been done for 20 mins not because they notified me but because I asked them what the hold up was and they still cant process my paper work just so they can take my money. I HATE coming here so bad, just because of the experiences Ive had here with the parts and service department I changed my mind on upgrading and probably wont even get another nissan when Im ready for a new vehicle. UPDATE:7/24/2017-2:30 PM Just had another horrible experience with the service dept, I have got to my appt at 2:50, had made a 2:30 appt in advance, even called when I was running late, they said it was fine. when I arrived I had to wait 10 mins before even being greeted or acknowledged. I agian repeated everything I needed to get done, (it was included in the notes when making appt). they said my total would be 300 for tune up, tire rotation, and oil change and to check my brakes, which was fine. I reviewed what it would cost and then signed off that i was okay with it. I went to portillos right down the street which I let the guy know I was doing. as Im making my way down the street I start to receive a call from the dealership, as Im about to answer the call is ended. I call back but its the basic answering machine. I go back in under 20 mins, walk right past the service check in and continue to wait for my car. its about 3 30 at this point. at 4: 47pm the service clerk(young dark skinned girl) dials my phone agian and when I answer I tell her Im in the waiting area, she tells me to come to her desk, I do. when I arrive she waves me over and says shes been calling me mutiple times and before I even have to time to reflect on what she said, she goes on to let me know that( charges which I already agreed to and gave them a signature for) the break check would be 62$ with no repair which I already knew. it was a diagnostic I was signing off on. I then realize how stupid she really is and ask if theyve even started my car. she says no, so I ask for the manager, the girl wont even let me speak to him alone so I step away from her and ask manager to follow me. as Im explaining my issues he tells me I shouldnt have scheduled a big service so late in the day but he is willing to give me a rental and I can come back tomorrow. I just started having sezuires a few months ago for the first time so Im not allowed to drive, had to ask a friend to come with and drive my car just to make it to this appt. so I wouldnt even be able to drive this "car" myself and now hes gonna need all my info just to drive off the lot. when I complained on the girl for lying(have the phone records to prove it) and having an attitude he said "thats funny, Ive only received compliments about her" this idiot also told me he started 6 months ago this service department is constantly having to shake things up and hire new management because not one single person Ive encountered in the service department is able to do his job. PLEASE AVOID HAVING YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE, IT WILL MAKE YOU REGRET BUYING YOUR CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. 7/24/2017. NISSAN KELLY YOU LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE.

Overall: Purchasing a car with Kelly Nissan on 95th, in Oak Lawn, was the best car buying experience I have ever had. In the past I have dealt with places like Carmax, which is unbelievably easy to deal with if youve done your research and are simply ready to buy a used car. I enjoyed my experience, and never had any issues with the vehicle I purchased from Carmax. In regards to buying new cars from dealerships, Kelly Nissan Stands alone. I have purchased cars from Mitsubishi, Jeep, Nissan (two different locations), and now this most recent time at Kelly with phenomenal service and care. Sales Rep: My positive experience is directly correlated with my sales representative, Laird Rencher, who took care of me. Laird is a very welcoming, friendly, and real person. He definitely breaks the negative mold of what you think of when you think of a “salesman.” There was never a time where I felt pressured or that he was trying to sell me car, rather than understanding my needs and preferences in a vehicle. He was attentive to my situation and ensured he exhausted all efforts in providing me the discounts/promotions/rebates available to assist with a price I was comfortable paying. As well as actually explained what was happening. I definitely felt very cared for versus a commission check. Process: Let me preface this by saying, I was driving my car home in under two hours at this dealership, and I was a brand new customer there--not a repeat. That is unheard of. Everyone makes their peace spending 4-5 hours at a dealership when theyre in the market. Not the case here. I spend more time in a grocery store than the time I spent at this dealership. In under 2 hours, I sat down with Laird, explained my situation (in detail), I proposed a preferred vehicle and preferences, filled out my application, took a test drive, was advised on various models of the car, applicable discounts & promotions, etc. Nissan [not me] obtained the necessary information regarding the payoff amount surrounding my trade-in; and was given a fair trade-in value in comparison to what I owed, we had the conversation regarding how much I wanted my monthly payment to be, as well as down payment I was prepared to provide; I was NOT pressured into putting more money down than necessary. The normal back and forth conversation between Laird and his manager was had, to ensure an agreeable rate and payment. We executed the financial documents, they washed and cleaned a brand new version of the car I chose, transferred my belongings from my old vehicle, and I drove home. Under 2 hours. Bonus: Laird mentioned to me, prior to sending me on my way, that my wife would automatically be approved if she were in the market for a new car. When I mentioned that to my wife, she thought it would be worth taking a look. Long story, short, Laird was able to get us in another new car in under an hour (if that. It felt like 30 minutes). My experience was so exceptional; we bought two cars in the same day—both from Laird. It has been since 2012 when we bought our cars, and we’re still very happy with Nissan.

I was in the market for several weeks, looking for the right 2012 Infiniti G37x, especially with low miles. I finally thought I found one at an Infiniti dealer with only 7100 miles and it was Certified Pre-owned (CPO). We really wanted a CPO vehicle because of the extended warranty protection. The price was a little higher than budgeted but my wife and I thought it might be worth the stretch. We planned to visit the Infiniti dealer to see the car in person, 50 miles away, one-way. Before that, we had given some thought, off and on, to looking at a used 2012 G37x that Kelly Nissan was advertising. Although it had 16,000 miles, it was priced less than the G37x we were looking at, the one with 7100 miles. Unfortunately, the Kelly Nissan G37x DID NOT have a CPO/extended warranty offered with the vehicle price. (This was somewhat of a drawback all along - the CPO gap muted our interest in Kellys G37x vehicle.) I contacted Kelly Nissans Internet Sales Manager, Vito DiPerte to discuss the car. Vito encouraged me to come out and take a look, touting the cherry condition of the G37x that they had. My wife and I decided to do our due diligence and view the car at Kelly Nissan in person before heading to the Infiniti dealer to test drive the G37x with 7100 miles, the car we thought we were likely going to purchase. Well safe to say, Vito saved us a long trip and some time. The car was as he described - cherry. Yet there was one major obstacle - no CPO warranty. Vito reached out to Steve Finnegan, Sales Manager who then crafted a solution together with Vito. They creatively and competitively priced in a service contract for their G37x - offering the same if not better extended warranty coverage than a CPO from Infiniti. Bingo, and I saved some cash over the other vehicle. To top it off, Vito had his car detail guy, Sal, detail the car inside and out before my wife and I came back to finalize the purchase of the vehicle. Its been a week now since we purchased from Kelly Nissan. It was a pleasure working with Vito and Steve, especially Vito since he managed the majority of the process. They were fair, sincere and trustworthy in our eyes. Were really happy with the deal!
