We were in the market for a reliable used car. Our friends recommended New Ride in Evanston, IL.. We went over to see what they had on the lot, and also looked online. We met Jimmy the owner and after asking us what our needs were, he recommended a vehicle. He brought up a Chevy Tahoe that just came back from the detail shop and showed us the car. We took the Tahoe for a ride and decided this was exactly what we needed. We agreed on a fair price and we bought the Tahoe. Jimmy went thru the car showing us all the features. We did get a lot for our money. As we drove home my wife and I realized all this time had been looking at the wrong type of vehicle. This Tahoe was perfect thanks to Jimmy caring about what we needed, instead of what he wanted to sell on the lot. The Tahoe has been problem free and we love to drive it. In a couple of years our daughter will start to drive and I can tell you her car will come from New Ride with Jimmys help. If you are looking for a quality used car for a fair price, stop into New Ride. I recently purchased a car from New Ride. The car was as described on the web site. I test drove the car and noted a few things, which were taken car of immediately. Price negotiations were quick and my trade in was taken in at a fair price. After driving the car a week, I noted an issue with the brakes that I wanted taken care of. Again, we came to a very fair resolution, the brakes were fixed in one hour while I waited, and I am very happy with my purchase. There will always be issues with buying cars and especially used cars. But if you can have people who are willing to deal with you, willing to be fair in their dealings, then the process of buying used cars can be a good experience. I had a good experience with Jimmy and New Ride and I believe the experience will be an on-going good thing.

BUYER BE WARE!!! DONT PURCHASE A CAR FROM BORRIS OR JIMMY. They will tell you a bunch of lies to get your money in their pocket. ONCE they got your money you will see it was all lies. Make sure any promises/requests are written on paper! the last couple reviews are exactly right! The only reason they got a couple good reviews is because they wrote the reviews themself. PLEASE BE AWARE OF NEW RIDE INC. BUYER BE WARE. ANTOINETTE I FEEL REALLY BAD FOR YOU. YOU ARE STUCK WITH THE CAR BECAUSE YOU SHOULD HAVE CHECKED IT BEFORE PURCHASE. THEY KNOW THIS! THEY DID THEY SAME THING TO ME $16,0000 LOST TO A LEMON!!! NO OPTIONS ONCE YOU SIGN AND PAY AND THEY KNOW THIS!

I purchased my 2003 VW PASSAT from New Ride and was very pleased with there honesty and knowledge of the viechle.....I also take the car there for all my maintanence and repairs...there prices are always on the lower end compared to all other repair shops...Most of alI I really appreciate there honesty and knoweldege about my viechle....oh not to forget that everytime i take my car in for a repair i always leave with a smile and peace of mind that my car was repaired correctly and at way below compared prices... by the way they always wash my car after every service :))

Dont purchase a car from this place!!! I purchase a car from this place and had problems the exact day!!! was told by Jimmy to bring car back for repair :) needless to say i have bought the car back 5 times for the same problem!!!!! these guys are untruth worthy :( and now im stuck with a car i cant drive!!! i dont know whats my next step because i refuse to drop car back off to have them do nothing !!!!

Unprofessional sales staff filled with empty promises. Quoted a great sale price over the phone and harassed with phone calls for numerous days just to get me in the door, once there vehicle quoted was not in stock
