If there was an option for a negative rating I would certainly give it to this store. I purchased kitchen cabinets and counter tops from this store. This has been one of the most horrific quality/customer service experiences I have ever seen. The cabinets were delivered with doors hanging off, cracked cabinets, broken screws, no shelves, in two cabinets no holes for shelves, slow close hinges and doors defective, drawer boxes broken, no cabinet doors for two cabinets..... just a complete mess. My contractor literally had to repair each cabinet before installing. I would have cancelled the order had the project not been already drastically delayed! The associate that sold the cabinets provided inaccurate information several times. When attempting to escalate to management there was only a response after it appeared all issues were resolved. They were not and have not heard from him since. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!! STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. Trust me, pay more somewhere else with better quality! I would not wish this experience on anyone! Lastly, in all fairness they did refund a portion of the purchase due to the initial issues but for two cabinets being sent with no shelves and when I was told the replacements would be in withing two weeks actually werent delivered until four weeks. Even after being delivered to the store the contractor no showed two times. IT IS NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION. Update: 8/19/17 Three weeks have passed and no one has contacted me. Found another issue with the cabinets, spoke to cabinet manager and sales associated. Was supposed to receive a follow up call today. Didnt happen.

I visited this store on New Years Eve ( 12/31/15 ) during the day originally to browse but of course I found somethings. I have shopped here before and everything was good but on this day, I left in shock with a bad taste in my mouth. I walked to a register #1 and the cashier was having a conversation with a co-worker and she let me know by standing on the other side of the register. To sum this up the cashier threw my bag on the counter and snatched my credit card out my hand, needless to say I left with nothing. I spoke with the Manager Marie or Mary and expressed how displeased I was as the cashier stood there and laughed. While leaving I knew nothing would be done, I have experienced a lot of things but this was the first. If I had not been with my Husband this situation would have ended differently TRUST ME!

This HOBO store has good prices and selection but terrible customer service. So far we have mostly shopped for tiles and flooring supplies for three bathroom renovations and a basement remodel. The products offered there are generally good quality at modest prices. There is also a large selection of nice tile and hardwood floor designs. However, some of the sales associates at this store are poorly trained are obviously not interested in helping you with anything. We were told we could return an item in an unopened box without a receipt as long as we were making a purchase so the price of the return would count against the purchase. When came back with the item to do that, another person told us they will only accept it back with a receipt. They just wasted our time and money with the misinformation.

It has been two and a half months since work started on my fathers kitchen remodel, and the kitchen is only half done. My brother made the mistake of paying for the repairs up front, instead of securing the work with the bank. Its been one delay after another. How long does it take until we are able to eat food in our kitchen? Is Hobo gonna reimburse my brother for all the days off he has to take to meet the workers, my father is elderly and cant hear the door bell, or communicate to the workers. You better believe the rest of the house remodeling is gonna go to somebody else. The subcontractors used by Hobo SUCK and its quite obvious they are getting other work done first. Good luck on the next sucker that gets you guys for a remodeling!

Great Store !! Bought a chair and tile on my last visit . Tile is in boxes and you are able to take with immediately. The price was discounted. Look here for tile before you go to the bigger stores. They carry high end tile and lower if you are on a small budget. The chair was half the price and I also was able to take with.I have had it for several months and get great comments on it . The gal in the department even helped me talk through several choices as I debated on a futon or a chair selection . Lastly if you are looking for futons they have a great selection !! Sue

My husband just drove 45 minutes to buy a lawn mower that was advertised, and the sales person told him that they dont have any, and have never had any. He was told to pre-order, and they would have it there in a couple of weeks. I hope that this place knows that what they have done is ILLEGAL! Its false advertisement, and, "bait and switch." I will be contacting my attorney, and the BBB! We will never shop here again! Crooks!

Found your plumbing/fixture section expensive. Large selection, certain items quite unique, reasonable prices on most items, carry a lil of everything, bought my daughters bedroom furniture here - plus other household items. Decent quality. Assembly was easy. She luvs the set. Cashier was a bit rude but I didnt have to take her home. ;) Will shop again. Thanks.

Today , we retuned to the store after we thought we were missing parts for a vanity set we purchased . We were kindly helped by a person named Dan ! Not only did he helped us but he made sure we were taken care of the register.This is the kind of service that makes customers want to return . Thank you Dan !!

Stay away from this store! This costumer service is a joke. They wont let you exchange the mattress for a bigger size just because they sold it already open and said I opened it so they wont accept it. Thats how you make a business people. Just sell it knowing its open and dont accept the return.

I went in because I locked myself out of my car! The Assistant manager let me use the lock out tool first, then pay for it after I got my wallet out of my car. The men are very knowledgeable about the tools and most of the workers are very friendly.

I was at the cash register and was searching for change. The girl at the register said she cant take any change after she opens the register. She tried to insult my intelligence. She should have just said I need the register to issue change.

HOBO is hit or miss. I have found some good deals, and other times I found nothing worth buying. I cant ever recall getting help from an employee or friendly service.
