Bought a 2003 SAAB for our 16yr old son. Had three issues we put in the contract to be fixed. They said they had to have the full dollar amount before they could do the repair work. After a few weeks and us bringing the car back to them they fixed two of the issues, but the third was a locking mechanism and it was going to involve taking the door apart and they didnt want to do that. They tried other things and kept saying they would get a new key fob etc. I followed up with them for weeks but they told me I had to be patient and let them do their research and contact other SAAB mechanics. Needless to say we have never heard from them again. Its 4 months later and we have had the car in the shop twice, once for an electrical issue in the brake lights and for a dead battery. My thoughts on this are they seem really nice to begin with but once you give them the money you are no longer important. They will stall and avoid you to save themselves some money instead of honoring their contract, they are all about fast turnover. Never pay full up front until you are 100% satisfied with the repairs. We trusted them to keep their word and they ignored us. Our mistake! Beware of these used car salesmen!

Purchased a 2007 Scion tC from BG Motor Cars in December 2011 for my son. Sean M. was the person I dealt with and he was outstanding. Easy to work with, low profile, low pressure, let the car sell itself. He was patient while I took the CarFax, checked it out to a mechanic and then asked him to get a few things corrected before an offer was made. He gave me a fair deal with the approval of the owner (Norman) and we have been very pleased with the whole experience. My son loves his car. I was a bit apprehensive going to a used car lot but this experience won me over. Forget what "brontosaurus" and "Rickey and Tracy" say below - my guess is that these people are the kind that wont be pleased until they are GIVEN a car - and then would find a way to complain about it. Honestly, why would one care about the building and the road it was on? Are you buying a dealership or a car? Anyway, I would definitely come to BG Motor Cars again if I am in the market for a used car.

Noman, is the best salesman I have ever gone to. There are no words to describe the amazing experience my family and I had these couple of days working with him. Not only will he do everything in his power to work up to your wants and needs of a vehicle but his email responses are faster than any operating business I know in Illinois, not exaggerating. From now on i will never go to any other dealer. Theres a huge difference between someone who sells cars because it is their passion and what they love to do and a person who does it for profit. I can honestly say that Noman works from his heart and you can tell that within 5 minutes of walking into his office. Thank you, again!!

These guys claim to have “the best maintained and serviced vehicles in the area”, what a joke. If you consider a gallon of “Amour All” and non-matching touch-up paint “the best” at covering up all the defects, than this is the dealership for you. And if that’s not bad enough, if you don’t purchase from them, they become offensive, belligerent and degrading towards you. They claim “low overhead structure to give you the best prices and quality”, translation: dirty warehouse on the side of the out of the way road. Do yourself a favor and stick with a reputable franchised dealer and avoid the “smoke & mirrors”.

DONT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE!!! I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO MY GUTT FEELING. I purchased a used vehicle for my grandson, 3 months later come to fine that the "supposedly" new tires are no good for summer STREET driving! the BRAKE LINE leaks! The car is deemed UNSAFE because the frame is rotted!!! how horrible of an experience to think you are purchasing a safe vehicle from this RIP OFF place. Go to CARMAX, go anywhere but DONT BUY A CAR FROM THIS GUY- basically took my money and this was suppose to be my grandsons 1st car. The owner and the worker just took advantage of our knowledge base of cars.

I was looking to purchase a used vehicle for my teenage daughters to use. I had a lot of safety concerns and wanted to ensure I was providing my girls with a safe and reliable vehicle. My budget was only $5000 and I had high expectations for my budget. I worked with Norm and Anthony at BG Motor Cars, and over the course of our discussions, they addressed every single one of my concerns. They were never pushy, always considerate, provided consistent communication, and ultimately delivered a vehicle, on budget, that met all of my expectations. I would recommend seeing Norm or Anthony for your next car.

My family brought in and traded in 2 cars and purchased 2 cars. Overall on the first vehicle no problems or concerns. However on the second car there have been multiple issues. At first this place helped us out completely even giving us a loaner vehicle as they took it to their shop. Fast forward 9 days and we get the car back and the check engine light comes back on. We called them back and Sean the "sales and tech guy" told us that he would talk to the owner of this place to see what they were going to do. 2 days have passed and they wont return our phone calls.

I like how this guy has an answer ready only for the bad reviews and kind rude at times in my opinion, anyway Im gonna be short here 4 weeks after I bought the car I have an oil leak , muffler fell off completely and broken strut. Now this guy is gonna write a response trying to make me look bad that they offer their help I never showed up and I didnt because you assured me the car was in perfect condition you would buy back from me if any problems. But I will just save your time and say that I just had bad luck. I would pass this one.

If youre in the market for an UNBEATABLE deal on a used car then you gotta stop in and talk with Noman... I bought a 2009 Audi A4 from BG Motor Cars and WOW!! Hands down best dealer Ive ever been too, not pushy whatsoever... I was given private seller value for my trade-in on my Civic and walked out w/ a beautiful Audi.. Noman is a GREAT guy who Id now consider a friend, I cant say that about ANY other car salesman! THANK YOU BG Motor Cars!! Ill be back in search of something for my wife in the near future!!

Their cars are in great condition and thoroughly checked by experienced mechanics of foreign and domestic cars (I bought one of each). This is quite important when buying used.
