I had a great experience in dealing with nsclassics! I finally got a car that I have wanted for 20+ years! I drove the 5-6 hours one way to get this car! I pulled in the parking lot and saw it right away! They have a great selection of classics and muscle cars! However, the vehicle I purchased had a few flaws that I found upon inspecting it! All of the little flaws I found are easily repairable! Now the issues I didnt see, presented themselves during the 5-6 hour drive back home! There was really nothing working on the inside! No radio, no hvac, gauges were sporadic, not one dummy light was working, and the odometer is not working! I got less than 25 miles into the trip back home, before the car shut down, and the battery was dead! My 20+ years in the automotive field gave me the ability to fix the problem temporarily to get home! The last problem and the biggest one is the brakes! They went out! I was fortunately only 6 miles from home when this happened! Now with all the problems that I found(some are not listed)I should be very mad, but Im not! Theyre minor problems with the notable exception of the brakes! Ive been in or around the automotive world my whole life! I myself am a high rated technician for VW! If you charge tens of thousands of dollars for cars, it might be a good idea to make sure that theyre as close to perfect running/driving condition as possible! Some of the repairs or patchwork I found is completely unacceptable! The so called "mechanic"or whoever was under the hood of the car I purchased, needs to be fired!! If you need documentation of everything I found, I will be glad to send them! I know a classic car is probably not going to be perfect! Dont post an ad saying "all stock", "very clean" or low mileage when the vehicles odometer doesnt work and none of the warning lights work! I fully intended on restoring the car anyways! I should be very upset about this, except I have no way to prove who did these repairs! On the other hand you had to know about them when you inspected the vehicle right? Please treat your customers purchases better! These potential purchases can and/or will come back to bite you, if theyre not maintained or repaired to a higher standard! The vehicle I bought should be been repaired correctly and not "patched" with the hope I wouldnt notice! Guess what, I noticed and witnessed the effects of very bad repairs! So to bring this to a close, I did enjoy my visit, but more attention had better be paid to the vehicles your selling! My brake situation couldve gotten REAL bad when I was traveling at 75 mph, and brakes decided to go! Do it for the customers, and not the wallet!

Biggest con artist around. Went into see a mustang that was listed online as having a newly rebuilt engine. When I went to look at the car, the owner of the dealership,Tom, told me that it was a brand new rebuild v8 engine that he put in himself. Promises it was an every day driver that his wife has used before for grocery shopping. After numerous questions about the engine and how it was installed and rebuilt, the owner promised me hat if I wasnt happy hed fix it, but would not allow me to drive the car past the parking lot. He claims that he allowed me to go on an hour drive but this is a bold face lie. After buying the car and driving it for 20 mins, it begins to over heat. I called Tom and he promised to repair the problem free of cost at his shop. After picking up my car a week later, not only did the problem persist, more problems came to light. I then decided to take it to another garage and the new mechanic was shocked to find the engine in such ill repair. The car was a v6 originally and Tom put a v8 engine incorrectly, two of the engines main caps were completely cracked in half, and the cooling system was installed incorrectly. Totaling over 10 grand in repairs to get it to where it was advertised. I called Tom and asked him what he would be willing to do about it, after avoiding my calls for a week he finally answered and essentially told me to go screw my self, but in worse words. My girlfriend wrote up a yelp review about this and Tom paid to have the negative review taken down. This man is terrible and has made a career screwing people over.

I bought a 69 GTO from Northshore Classic as an internet purchase and was less than satisfied when car arrived. I had even hired a private inspector on my behalf to go over car and test drive and he refunded me my check as I found multiple problems with car once it arrived off the truck. First off the safety of the car was major with all 4 tires needing replacement due to the tread from the tire. I dont know how the inspector did not blow a tire and have an accident but he was lucky! Secondly, once I drove car home about a mile away, the power steering pump started leaking and will need to be replaced. After going over other items of the car, it will not pass a PA State inspection due to lights and electrical problems that will need to be addressed. I was searching for my dream GTO but after spending $21,500, I have only driven it once and have not been able to get it on the road until the problems are fixed and I feel comfortable allowing my family to ride in the car. If Tom Denic and North Shore were a reputable dealer, they would offer to pay for the repairs needed to the car, especially the safety items. Tom you still have my number and you can call me to discuss since you will not pickup the phone to return my call however you can answer a text pretty quick to offer to buy car back which I am still considering if these repairs get too costly! The lesson take away is buy a plane ticket, test drive the car and have your own mechanic inspect before you make a purchase! All I can say what goes around comes around!

Many "THANKS" go out to the crew at North Shore Classics (Crystal, Sarah, Jim and, of course, Tom) for making my long distance buying experience so easy. I bought my 1967 Pontiac Lemans Convertible from them in July 2016. The process took some time but the car finally arrived the second week of August. There are several reasons I wanted this particular car but the best one is that my mom owned one when I was a kid. She mentioned a while back (a couple years ago) that she would LOVE to get behind the wheel of a 67 Lemans again, just to relive the memories. North Shore Classics helped me make that dream a reality for my mom. She and my older brother are pictured here with me and my "Retirement Fund". My husband looked like a kid at Christmas when he saw the Lemans up close coming off the delivery truck. His eyes gleamed and his smile filled his face. He hugged and kissed me and said, "You did good, honey!" As for me, shes my new baby! She brings back so many childhood memories from being in the back seat with my older brother, fighting, singing, laughing, joking and just living life! Back then it was just the three of us, mom, my brother, Tom and me! Thanks again North Shore, you really went above and beyond for so many people but most of all for me! When my friends are read for their "Retirement Funds", Ill make sure they get in touch with you! Karen Tweedley - Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey
